The media are absolutely loving this. They're wetting their pants.

United heading Deadline Day is an absolute dream for them.

No other club on the planet would get as much interest drawn if they were in our situation right now.

This SSN coverage featuring commentary by the professionals is so laughable

"I don't think Stones wanted to leave Everton "
"He handed in a transfer request "
"I don't care about that"

Charlie Nicholas, how about looking at your own car crash of a team before bashing the one you're oh-so bitter against?

Yeah, you're right Holloway. A player would never have gone to Chelsea under the nose of United under Fergie.
What is that, we need a match winner like Hazard?

To be fair if anyone is going to recognise an embarrassment it's a man approaching 54 who spikes his hair and wears an earring.

Holloway is a bit stupid isn't he ? Not our fault Madrid waited for the last day to sign him you bald bellend.

With deadline day proving to be a damp squib, I guess the broadcasters can find little else to talk about, other than United in crisis.

This day has been fantastic. We've literally schooled Madrid and made them look like fools. Martial and another wide attacker(right) and I'd be very happy.

Shit deadline day. Unless some blood samples get leaked, i dont see us signing someone. Hoped for at least one player this morning.

Not sure whether the pointless Henry green screen work or the fact they added the commentary from the FA Cup Final goal to Cantona's chip annoys me more about that Sky Sports advert.

I did think when I found out that the deadline day was 6pm on the 1st that it would go this way.

Jim White must have been gutted really. He loves all the build up and anticipation but so far it's been a huge let down. The Martial deal was known about yesterday and overall all teams seem to be quiet.

Does our transfer window usually finish so much later than most countries? Or was it literally just because it was bank holiday here? Seems a bit daft because I'm sure all major players at all clubs were still working so what was the reasoning?

That advertisement has become annoying. Sick to death of seeing/hearing it.

Is that turd White still fronting it? I hope that this time, somebody actually rams a dildo up his ring piece when he's in the middle of one of his monologues.

Official site's deadline day is talking too much sense and putting dampner on muppet hearts. I am enraged by that and will break couple of plastic bottles at 6 PM as a mark of protest.

The fella on SSN now, speaking outside Upton Park, is trying to beat the world record for saying "season long loan" the most times in 60 seconds.

Holloway is on SSN talking the truth about the shambles the club have become when it comes to transfers.

There's no way we'd be in this situation if Fergie and Gill were still here. Now way would De Gea have one year remaing on his contract.

Please, for the love of God, take a time out!

How long before the deadline did we become interested in Falcao

That was gathering speed in the early hours of the morning on deadline day (with it shutting at midnight). Nothing will happen now, just not enough time.

I'm getting to that point... A guy who has scored league goals (for a terrible team) and who would probably accept he wouldn't be first choice.

Yeah if he can score 18 goals for a relegation fodder team then surely he could bag 15 or more for us.

You still holding out hope for Mane are you? Based on what evidence?
Since when was evidence required to post a thought on transfer dealings?

I hope we don't sign him; leaving the path clear for Griezmann next summer ;)

Jesus thank God they've taken Holloway and that other clown off to put them back in their straightjackets. Le Tissier and Robinson on now speaking common sense to the obvious chagrin of the two presenters.

Robinson in particular speaks very well.

Is the 6pm close a steel door - or can previously agreed deals be negotiated into the night?

SSN just said there's a two hour window after 6, once certain documents have been submitted before 6. So effectively at 8, everything will be done.

SSN comparing stats with new and former players  reminds me of the days in the school playground comparing your Pokemon card stats with your mate.

Straight from Football Manager. Martial only has finishing 13 :(

Ah okay. Cheers.

There's still a possibility of some more craziness then!
