What joy do you get from football? Because if this is your reaction to his performance last night then I'd maybe just watch something else.

calm down, just some deja vu like parallels from both managers' reigns, Rashford situation similar to Sancho situation, with a positive in a talented promoted young midfielder

Your reward for a goal line clearance, saving the win, get throttled by the butcher and have your brains shaken out by Yoro and Dalot.

No wonder he looked dazed.

I thought he came here as a silky promising midfielder with good long range passing, and press resistance.
He was never silky but he does have a good range of passing of both feet and can turn well in small spaces. With a more structured team around him he will start to show it I believe.

He's touch is good, he reads the game well, he's aggressive and timely in his tackle, he brings presence and mobility to the midfield, he doesn't hide from the ball and he shows composure. If he start passing forward successfully he wouldn't be just a squad player.

Got to have someone to pass to first

It's not a quality he has shown in his minutes in the first team. He's probably just playing safe because some of the sideway passes aren't necessarily easy either with opposition all around. I like him and I see him being like a Declan Rice.

Whilst the stats don't show much tackles and interceptions, I like the way he closes down and harrasses opponents slowing down attacks.

Doing well to this point in time. Certainly proven himself as a squad member ready to come on and pitch in.

I thought he did fine tonight. Too many people seem to expect a young player to come into the first team and be the finished article

Was very aware of team overall position and did well dropping back to cover when players were pushing forward.

On the other side of things, saw Casemiro lazily not track a run within 5 mins of coming on, so Collyer is exceeding his competition easily.

Yeah. I’ve been impressed with him and I hope Amorim keeps managing his minutes. He could be Ugartes understudy and save us some money.

Hope not, we lack so much in midfield in terms of ability on the ball.
Hes doing well but needs to be improve there, however happy to see him progressing.
