Most of this makes sense but hundreds of thousands still using it to this extent still benefits twitter for the advertisers that are still there like big players like the NFL, Walmart and insurance companies. It would take a general migration to really kill off their ad revenue completely and with even people that hate Musk still using it so much, that does end up benefitting him.
If you were just looking at the people in his first term, I could understand your point but 50 years of Gaetz, RFK Jr, Gorka and Tulsi the Russian Asset types running the US and the type of Western hegemony you prefer would collapse completely. It's a nonsenical comparison to begin with but you aren't choosing a world you think you might be choosing with that statement.

Ukraine is screwed. And so is Taiwan. Japan , S Korea, Poland, Germany, Australia all need to go the nuclear weapons route. And Europe needs to start working on a defense alliance that doesn't include US.

Or the Democrats could try addressing the issues of people without college education again. Only a few decades ago, the majority of that demographic voted for Dems. They didn't completely change during that period; it's more a turn the Democrats made.
