The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

Wow!

Nice going @Zlaatan, that was a decent rant.

Don't try to argue or reason with Trumpsters. It's pointless, you will never hear what you want to hear and it will never make sense. If they are intelligent enough to be supporting Trump then they should know better, but they can't defend the indefensible and many are way too stubborn, arrogant or proud to admit making a mistake. Take those away and it just leaves those who truly don't give a shit or like @Carolina Red has said, it's like supporting United to them, they will never change.

Don't be mad or upset, you did the decent and honourable thing of reaching out and trying, so don't be upset that you tried.

:

Trumpeters: He must be doing something right to have such a low approval rating. MAGA.

His coalition that got him elected are all gone now, which is a good thing for the Dems since they will need those independents to turn up next year and in 2020.

I fecking hate the Trump cult.. I truly, truly hate them. Now I don't have the same kind of experience or skill as langster at venting ;) but I really need to at this point.

I've spent a week or so trying to discuss Trump&co with some American diehard Trumpsters on another forum and it's close to impossible. I'm absolutely positive that I could have a more meaningful conversation with the stuff I leave in the toilet in the mornings.

These muppets either
a) deflect to Hillary
b) call me a hypocrite for not discussing Hillary's "proven" and horrible crimes (in threads about Trump/WH)
c) attack me instead of my post
d) attack Swedens immigration problems (which apparently are the worst in human history, with links to Breitbart to prove it)
e) use sarcastic memes to show how leftists are idiots
f) deflectdeflectdeflect

I've never come across such ignorant f*cks in my entire life and I don't know if I should get angry or just laugh at them.. It's completely impossible to have a reasonable argument with these people.
They are completely convinced that no one in the WH has done anything wrong in regards to Russia and even if they have its apparently no big deal since its impossible that Trump is the culprit and anyone else can't do any damage anyway... (leaking state secrets to your biggest enemy is apparently no big deal) The worst part of it though is how smug they are about everything and the way they shoot everything down. You truly feel like punching them through the screen after talking to them..

I need to go and watch some YouTube videos that ridicule Trump to make myself feel better.

Ignorance is the worst kind of ailment. At some point you just have to give up reasoning with those that simply cannot be reasoned with.

Drumpf tweet imminent....

Problem with McCain chips is his sentiments don't often align with his actions, in fact they never do.

He'll voice how concerned he is at anything or everything then proceed to vote in line with the rest of the GOP *****. A bit like Lindsay "he's one of the good uns" Graham.

He's been inching more and more to a confrontation with Trump, in fact I'd be willing to bet that when it happens, it will sort of give license to other Republicans to have a pop at him.

This is a good indicator of what kind of person Trump is and can be broadly applied to everything he says and does in a political context as well in terms of what he tells easily led working class people in order to gain power.

He's been inching since Trump announced his candidacy and nothing seems to have come from it. From what I saw in the Comey testimoney he regressed to the same nonsense line of questioning as his comrades had done, bringing it back to Hillary etc.

He was completely sleep deprived at the Comey hearings. The thing about McCain is once he gets it in his head that someone is bad, he won't let it go, and Trump is just about there.

He will completely give over and vote in line with the party leadership. Lindsay Graham, John McCain and Marco Rubio were supposed to give Trump on Russia. No one did apart from a few soundbites. Trump's 37% is solidly for him. His base is rock solid, when it comes to election, the evangelical crowd will stick with Jerry Falwell Jr and the republicans who have not decided will vote for him anyway because it's better than a commie bastard.

When God commanded the founding fathers to enshrine the right to bear arms in our founding document, son.

It' not just here, but still in many other countries...the constitution is considered one step down from the Bible or Quran or Gita. It was a set of rules written by men who lived in a age vastly different from what we live now. Changing the constitution should not be such a hassle....when the need for change is such bleeding obvious.

Given that Trump hasn't put forth any economic legislation, the good numbers can't really be attributed to him.

You know that. I know that. Many here know that. Anyone who understands politics/finance/legislation knows that. His supporters don't, and even if they do, they just don't care.

I think I could just copy and paste that response to absolutely everything posted about Trump in this thread, and the election thread too. I now think he just tweets to keep his supporters happy. Give them something to like or retweet every now and again. My only question is that when are all these small mid-west and rust belt towns and cities going to start realising that things are actually getting worse for them and the jobs really aren't returning either? Surely then the core 34% will start to fall away too? When they lose healthcare surely then they will start to drop away even more?

He'll be claiming Rooney's assists before long. And taking the credit for Nuttall's Gettysburg Address.

Puerto Rico voted overwhelmingly today in favor of US statehood. It's up to Congress to grant the request. Let's see how a GOP congress reacts to this...

It's not happening. And its actually a bipartisan sentiment. A lot of Dems are averse to Puerto Rico and DC stateshood.

More brown folks? I think not. They want to have a physical wall and now an electoral wall.

The excuse will be the Flag looks symmetrical as it is today. No space to fill the 51th star.

He'll blame the Democrats for obstructing the revival of those towns.

31 states have open carry laws. You know, just in case we're suddenly invaded by "the other".

The second amendment made sense in the 20th century when the state wasn't huge. If the citizens were to rise up now against the state, i could not imagine that going very well for them.

Imagine the full might of the US army vs some obese rednecks on mobility scooters

They're not all on scooters, hence the term 'redneck.' An operation against the 'rural state' of America would not go well; half of the South is damn near a jungle. Vietnam increased by some orders of magnitude.

Even America would not invade America.

It's apparently also the only constitution from its time which is still in effect.
