You tell me because I wasn't born then but I'm guessing that threat arose from the fact that Russia helped North Korea's nuclear program under the guise of setting up power reactors.

You do realise that the nuclear power of the 70's, 80's and 90's is incomparable to the nuclear power stations of today?

No, I don't realize that. Nuclear power has always been the cleanest, safest, least environmentally damaging way to generate electricity. Over 60 years, old plants or new, its record is incomparable.

If a new Dragon hadn't arisen for the Don Quixotes of the left to fight, they'd still be wearing their rusty scraps of unreason and righteousness, happily going into battle against the old, nuclear Windmill.
 
That they chose the worst alternative for the Paris agreement is par for the course with this administration, no surprise really even if it's a horrible decision. I doubt they even know what the consequences will be anyway other than that their buddies that deal with fossil fuels will get even more money.
Now I'm sorry if I offend anyone here but the fact that this Tim Walberg says that god will take care of climate change is something I would expect to hear from some chief of an African bush tribe 250 years ago.. It's more than fine to believe in a god but to say something like that about something as serious as climate change is fecking beyond tragic. I seriously can't believe that we in 2017 still have leaders in our world who flat out denies facts and then goes on to "comfort" people by saying that a magic man in the sky has our back if we're wrong about this.. Please f*ck off Trump and f*ck off Walberg!!

Edit: However! The mayor of Pittsburgh is a legend, I hate the Penguins but now I feel it's actually alright if they win the Cup because the man in charge of their city is a boss for standing up to the muppets in the WH.

May wont say a thing because she's loving this from a trade point of view. Trump has pissed off the entire world now so she's prime in line to work out a trade deal with the USA and to help reinforce the special relationship with the USA. This really is a political coup for her, she really has hit the jackpot on this one.

To be honest I expected him to do this the day he was elected. One thing this this shows is his daughter's influence is either the opposite of what we all think it would be like and she's happy with this, or that her opinion matters little and in the end money talks, or her fathers hatred of Obama does, either way Ivanka's word means shit.

I just hope he will be gone soon and this will just help speed his exit up. Over the last couple of weeks he has shown himself up to the world. For everyone who wasn't as invested as some of us in here, the last couple of weeks have been a bit of an eye opener. On his travels he pretty much insulted the entire world except the Middle East, he even upset Russia ffs. He's proved himself to be completely inept and a national embarrassment. He's also proved how out of touch with the world he is. Hopefully this will just speed up his demise and further inspires those plotting it, maybe even bring more people together to help too.
