Sufficed to say this is going to be a potentially explosive week as the Russia narrative is going to entrench itself deeper and deeper to where it makes it increasingly impossible for Trump to govern or implement his agenda without constant distractions about Russia. He is going to have to address it at some point.

He refuses to deny whether a FISA warrant was issued against Trump associates.

You got that from that interview? He categorically denies outright that he has any knowledge of that type of FISA being issued against Trump associates and states that if one had been issued, he would have been aware of it.

This is eerily similar to Watergate. Pence might get in, like Ford did, and pardon Trump, thus possibly ruining his administration to.

He doesn't mention associates in the clip.

Edit - Just seen the transcript and you're right. He says based on his knowledge, there is no fisa court order on Trump or his campaign which i presume would include his campaign associates.

Same old, same old: It's never 45, always somebody else to blame.

He could also try to bring another explosive policy into action with the aim of shifting the narrative. Would require one hell of a controverse policy though.

Cotton is turning into quite the Charlatan these days. First his town hall called him out for lying about the Obamacare repeal, now he's running interference for Drumpf.

He could try, in fact he is expected to push out his new travel/immigration ban policy this week. Trouble for him is, the Russia thing has grown so big, and enough journos smell blood in the water, to where it is going to probably continue to dominate the news irrespective of Trump does - short of course of him launching a war or the like.

Tomorrow 45 is expected to sign the new immigration EO which will undoubtedly distract from his pathetic allegations. On another note, said allegations have pivoted the public interest from Sessions lies regarding having not spoken to Russian officials. But I'm sure that hasn't been 45's intention at all. ;)

So is it that once President Trump tweets a conspiracy theory the Congress has to look into it?

However unlikely these bills’ passage would have seemed in the 114th Congress, the possibility of these nine bills becoming law is much higher now, especially considering the flurry of headlines around Donald Trump’s ties to Russia, Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ recusal on the ongoing investigation into the president’s Russian connections, and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak’s multiple meetings with several of Trump’s top lieutenants.

Here are the nine worst bills to keep an eye on:

1. H.R. 861: To terminate the Environmental Protection Agency
2. H.R. 610: Tax dollars for private schools
3. H.R. 899: To terminate the Department of Education
4. H.J.R. 69: To repeal a rule protecting wildlife
5. H.R. 370: To repeal the Affordable Care Act
6. H.R. 354: To defund Planned Parenthood
7. H.R. 785: National Right-to-Work legislation
8. H.R. 83: Mobilizing Against Sanctuary Cities Act
9. H.R. 147: To criminalize abortion

I mean.. Seems a bit excessive just to put Betsy DeVos out of a job?

What's the plan there? Have no education at all? Complete privatisation?

predictions?

We should all do this actually. My predictions:

1. There'll be another resignation, not necessarily Sessions. Someone will be found to have said something they shouldn't.
2. Another high-profile military/intelligence person will turn down a prominent role.
3. Jared Kushner will start to get reeled more into this whole mess and start to look shaky too
4. Trump's EO tomorrow will still be a mess, but that won't stop there being tales of people stopped at airports and not given entry to the country.
5. Trump will go to Mar A Lago next weekend.

What I'd like to happen next week:

1. A trail of shell companies discovered which start to tie Trump more closely to Russian interests
2. New immigration EO struck down like the first
3. Transcripts of conversations leaked
4. Some pages of his tax returns leaked

This is the real meaty stuff that impeachments are made of. All the noise is to stop this happening.

Comey story corroborated elsewhere now

This can't go on for four years. Not even had two months and it's exhausting already.
