Say something that is completely untrue, double down on it and then ignore questions about it until people forget or he moves the subject on to the next thing he makes up and lies about. And yes, it did work nearly every single time. You have seen from the handful of Trump supporters in this forum, nothing he says matters, they either don't care or think he doesn't mean it, but it's all ok because at least he isn't a Democrat and especially because he's not Hillary.

I misread your post, sorry. But I thought your using of "He" was confusing.
Well a couple of ways, first whenever they are at a press conference they must all work together and when one person asks a question that is avoided, then the next person must ask the exact same one until it gets answered. They must also continue to call the administration out on their lies and fact check everything, and finally if like recently, a private press conference is called and certain publications are excluded, then they must all stand together and all leave. They have been doing a bit of this and it has been making a difference, albeit a small one, but it's still having an effect. Standing together is the only way to beat this lot, and recently all have struggled when called out on their lies. KellyAnne has been shunned by certain media outlets, Spicer struggled when questioned by a unified press group and so did Trump. Also as suggested by others, they all have to work together on stories, especially If it's big stories, the same way they all did for the Panama papers. Something like this is too big for one organisation to cope with and investigate on their own.
