The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

I found it on two sites, Reddit and one with a pop up inviting me to buy a Trump shirt and give up my email address. I'll wait until non-nutters are reporting it to believe it.

Ambassador visits white house, official business and closely monitored.

Trying to draw equivalence to private meetings that are then lied about. You would have to be as dumb as a box of frogs to buy that.

 He's gone full nuclear on Twitter. Needed something loud and outlandish to take away from the Pence and Sessions stories.

Fox, Americas Freedom Fighters, WND.com and World News Politics are the only ones I can see reporting on it. All of whom are right/far right/extreme right unreliable news sources.
I was shown it here: https://www.wsj.com/articles/justices-liberal-slush-fund-1449188273; https://www.forbes.com/sites/jvdelong/2016/09/11/settlements-and-slush-funds/#4796b8fe65c3 and of course Fox is covering it no surprise.

I was more wondering why if it was known for so long why does no one give a shit?

The first link appears to be broken.

From the second....

The most egregious recent example is the mortgage settlements between DOJ and various banks, where millions of dollars were channeled to third parties for such services as housing counseling, or credit abuse education.

Honestly, to me, for the most egregious example they could find, I'm not surprised it didn't blow up into a bigger story. Where's the outrage from the right that these bankers are still not in jail?

Fair point, then Fox is just taking old news and trying to blow it up for sensationalist journalism?

:D Today's cover of news magazine Der SPIEGEL: The Double Agent *. How much Putin is in Trump?

* EDIT: I totally fell into Der SPIEGEL's intended trap - it's actually not agent but regent. :o:lol::o

And the Trumpites were so optimistic after his speech performance

No they love this kind of thing. I sometimes read the_donald just to remind myself how fecking idiotic people can be (terrifying). They are convinced that this proves Obama fixed the election (yet somehow Trump still won). They want Obama locked up. Hillary locked up. Etc.

The more he tweets the quicker people will grow unafraid of the being called out by him on Twitter.

Drumpf is probably pissed Schwarzenegger is leaving because Donald still gets a producer credit worth a lot of money as long as the show is still on the air. Not any more of Arnie walks away.

Expensive weekend trip to Marolago - check
Early morning Twitter tirade - check
18 holes of golf - check

I have issues with Obama (especially his second term), but I believe that an incumbent president shouldn't call a former president "bad (or sick) guy". Just like I don't expect a current Man United manager to use this type of words against his predecessor(s).

Ah, just another day in the oval office it seems.

Not an expert regarding the Twitter, so I'm curious if those likes he keeps on getting are actually 'real', as in given by actual people, or did he just buy them or something?

This is a country of 325 million people, and he got nearly 60 million on November 8th. So, of course there are enough people who like this and believe this, otherwise he wouldn't be in the oval office right now.

Notice that this tweet right now has 17k replies, 55k likes and 23k retweets. I mean 55k people on Twitter actually agree and like what he says and just 17k tweets potentially disagree with this.

Edit: yes, doesn't mean everyone disagreeing with a tweet would reply or anything but still 55k seems like a huge number.
Wonder if a lot of the rednecks are on twitter. If not, that's a ton of people.

So no propaganda machine behind it, with thousands of fake accounts creating 20% extra likes for him or something?

I'm well aware of the massive amount of people that support Trump. I'm just not extremely familiar with the dynamics of twitter, something feels very robotic at times when I read and compare his tweets and the amount of likes they get, with 100.000 being the magic number. But that might just be me.

I know very little about Twitter, but looking at his feed this is not really extraordinary. 50k likes are pretty much the minimum, so I wouldn't underestimate the number of accounts who simply like everything he is posting(which is obviously not limited to him).
