The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

No. I'm straight up saying that it was a dangerous thing for that guy to do, in my opinion.

You know there are Arab MK's who regularly call Israel an apartheid state and support BDS, etc.?

Few if any I'd guess. Not sure what your point is.
My point is, that Arab MK's speaking out against some of Israel's more aggressive policies is hardly a surprise. Expected, if anything. However a 'true' Israeli national condemning his own? Might face a bit of a backlash for that.

So you're suggesting that 'apartheid' Israel discriminates against its Jewish critics by having them silenced while leaving its Arab critics free to say what they want?

BBC said:
A US congressional committee has agreed a bi-partisan investigation into Russia's alleged interference in last year's US elections.

The House intelligence panel inquiry will scrutinise contacts between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Moscow, members confirmed.

Until now, Republican senators had been reluctant to agree to Democratic Party demands for the inquiry.

The White House denies any improper behaviour during the election campaign.

The FBI and the Senate intelligence committee are also looking into claims of Russian meddling in the US election....

Ever heard of the term 'Self-Hating Jew' and all the nastiness that surrounds this phenomenon. Also, did I personally describe Israel as 'apartheid' or did you just throw that in for effect?

For effect I'll admit.

Now, I'm sure you'll admit there is a long way from calling someone a self-hating Jew to making them have 'an accident', no?

I think the outrage an Arab would face would be much less than a Jew would face for publicly condemning Israel. 'An accident' might be leaning towards hyperbole but I do think it was a dangerous move.

Honey trap?
If it is, he helped set it up for himself.

At his Jan. 10 Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing, Sessions was asked by Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) what he would do if he learned of any evidence that anyone affiliated with the Trump campaign communicated with the Russian government in the course of the 2016 campaign.

“I’m not aware of any of those activities,” he responded. He added: “I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I did not have communications with the Russians.”

Israeli media, academia, and peace organisations are full of anti-Zionist Israeli Jews, just google Neve Gordon, Gideon Levy, and Shlomo Sand for example.

I stand corrected, then. I apologise and withdraw my remark. :)

I'm absolutely no expert, but I'm not sure I'd say full of. Gideon Levy (the only one I know of) is in a niche in Haaretz, which is a tiny niche itself.

You gotta love politicians...he's gone from under oath - 'I've had no contact' to

'Campaign issues'

Hehehe

Lyin' under oath.....he's toast.

Isn't Sessions the one who had a very long hearing? I seem to remember it went on far longer than usual. At the time people were quite curious about his answers, and now it seems he's lied under oath.

Someone should link John Oliver's Obama care vid as well as Seth Myers' about Trump's speech. Can't right now

Come on guys be fair to him. He had as many as 25(twenty five) meetings with different ambassadors last year. You can't expect him to remember every single one of them. It's not like these sorts of things would have been on his schedule.

Yeah he's the one Coretta Scott King wrote the letter to the senate about in 1986. Elizabeth Warren tried to read it at the hearing and was silenced.

Sessions as said that he never had meetings with the Russians to discuss the campaign .

Sessions being busted regarding connections to Russia makes it is now a 3rd person affiliated with Donald Trump that got caught. It is almost certain to say Donald Trump are involved in this him self as it is just too many people close to him that is discovered with Russian connections to it just being random events or lone wolf actions. It really do look like its been organized from the Top from the start of Trumps campaign. This could get extremely serious as more indications of a possible Russian and Trump cooperation gets to the public. The Attorney General being caught with Russian connections is no laughing matter and shows the need of an independent investigation into this matter.

Back in September, Julia Ioffe (Politico) wrote in her article that someone told her that Carter Page (One of the other traitors) was recruited by Rick Dearborn. You may be wondering who he is, it just happens to be that Dearborn was Sessions' chief of staff.
