Ha ha mature person who supports a 70 year old that likes to grab pussy and has the temprement, attitude and diet of a spoilt 13 year old. Give me a break son.
...and so happens to be the President of the most powerful nation on the planet.

heh - I am playing with you guys.

But my serious point stands - even the Election thread was just an Oscar's style pat-on-the-back, hugging it out and throwing stones at the other side (eventual winners). Scares off people having a meaningful debate - might actually be quite interesting IMO. :)
Wouldn't that be nice buddy, how can that be possible when we are debating a character like trump. Let's have that debate tomorrow and not speculate today. You are right, we need some serious discussion but so far the administration hasn't taken its position seriously so it feels like a sick joke. What do you expect to hear tonight?

Ok fair enough - I do get your point, but if that's how you feel, why give fuel to the other side (i.e. 'look you guys are acting like petulant children too, so watch us come down on you') rather than just be grown-up about the whole thing?

Regardless of what we actually believe - to be fair, the other side were on the sidelines for 8years with not even nearly this level of aggression towards, clearly an administration they disliked.

I'm more offended that she'd take the photo there. There's a reason why the actual photographer is standing and is at a distance from the crowd.
Yeah I don't get that tbh - or just stand behind the sofa

To be clear, I have no skin in the game re: US Politics.
I am a keen observer of geopolitics (for a number of years).
If I HAD to choose, yes I would've voted Trump (just) - but feel like I have to appear more radical/extreme to have a proper debate about it all.

I call on everyone to create a safe space for Paz on this forum

I agree, I've created the safest of them all and put him on ignore. He actually reminded me of Kellyanne a little there saying there was outrage over something that clearly didnt happen. Even going to the lengths to exaggerate saying there was two pages. That was probably one of the worst posts I have ever seen on this site. Just flat out lying and so inaccurate and the thing is, everyone can see the evidence contradicting him. It was a very Trump-like post, I can see why he likes him so much. But I can do without his whummery and whubbery so ignore it is.

heh glad the liberals are wearing the badge with pride - and attempting to throw it around trying to shake it off.
Snowflake = omg look how she sits...
Mature person = let's debate the issues respectfully whilst acknowledging there are different opinions in the world.

That's funny, because by that definition your candidate is a snowflake and the dems are mature.

Why would you vote for Trump, what are the determining points?

What we learn (again) is that it is okay to make sexist jokes and remarks as long as the targets are conservatives, but not the other way around.

Not even that, it's worse: Lewinsky isn't conservative (AFAIK) and these people are self-proclaimed feminists speaking publicly, not random anonymous posters on a football forum.

This has long been true: over the course of Clinton’s political career, commentators have suggested that women voters felt intimidated by her and everything she had accomplished. Still other so-called feminists have been willing to throw even more basic principles under the bus to back their girl. Back when then intern Monica Lewinsky famously gave Bill Clinton a blow job in the Oval Office, a roundtable of prominent feminists in the New York Observer made fun of her looks, implied that she was stupid and slut-shamed her. Nancy Friday even suggested that Lewinsky “rent out her mouth.” None of this was Hillary Clinton’s fault—she did call Lewinsky a “narcissistic loony tune,” but it was a private conversation and one can understand her annoyance—but the fact that establishment feminists were willing to say such deeply misogynist things about a young woman with no power revealed just the sort of feminism that Hillary represents: one that is for insiders only.

Edit: I'm pretty sure there were tons of jokes here about Hillary's looks too though, there definitely were in 2008.

@Raoul what do you think of Glenn Greenwald?

You don't actually really debate politics though, you come in and say liberals have been offended/outraged by something, and then go away when challenged to discuss actual policy. The fact you're one of the better Trump supporters in the thread is saying something.

Don't care much for him these days. I did read him back in the day when he was beefing with Sam Harris and moreso before Assange and Snowden showed up onto the scene.

These days he seems more interested in running interference for Assange and Russian meddling.

With a username like that, I'm surprised that Trump hasn't had you deported from the thread.

Because the only reason you'd find a blonde in a room full of black men is....

It's not about their race though is it? It's a crowd of men and one woman.

Technically, there's a few women behind the President, but you're not supposed see that level of detail.

Would bit have been explicity racist if the logo was for Blacks on Blondes....I don't know. The insinuation is the same, though.

I see, thanks. Reading an article he wrote critiquing the recent New Yorker article on Russia and Trump.
