He's literally slagging off Judges to the public and at a rally that is being broadcast all around the world. Talk about undermining democracy.

Mitch Mcconnel is in the same boat albeit not as old. Why isnt he as fearful. I guess you are right though. McCain probably is a lame duck for the next 4 years may aswell speak out

Agree with this. He wants to go back to his happy place of rallies with the true believers, away from the unpleasantness of facts and governance.

They absolutely do in some areas; cheap overseas steel has a bad reputation, and often for good reason.

Though it's probably more applicable to drilling which needs new steel constantly rather than pipelines which are lay it and forget it.
 
All that money will be recovered when Air Force 1 is made out of pipeline steel.

Nah... he will charge people for the privilege of riding in it.

Trump owns an aviation leasing company -- he charged the GOP for using that trump plane through this company during his campaign.
Other People's Money (OPM) is his mantra in life.
 
As I was watching it, I found myself thinking... pivoting even just a little bit would have been such a smart thing to do.

Their tactics hugely divided the country, and I'd be certain that if they had mellowed a tiny bit, offered the hand of reconciliation even slightly, they would have gotten back a sizeable chunk of people onside and would have been more likely to succeed with as many odious plans as they wanted with the bit of goodwill they would have put back in the bank.

But they're so unbelievably petty, vindictive and arrogant that they just couldn't do it. They couldn't bring themselves even for a couple of weeks to try to bring some not-sures back onside. I can't wait for that to be their fatal flaw that brings it all crashing down.

When China awarded President Donald Trump a long-coveted trademark of the “Trump” brand this week, it violated its own regulations. Chinese legal standards prohibit trademarks of the names of foreign leaders.

Trump secured exclusive rights for the use of his name for “building construction services” in China on February 14 after a 10-year legal battle. But he had little success in his quest for a Chinese trademark before he became the Republican nominee last summer.

The apparent preferential treatment for the U.S. president could land Trump in legal trouble back at home.

Trump is the consummate scum politician -- great at deflections and doing what ever it takes for him to win. No real philosophy nor compassion.
