How long before Trump Inc start using birds eye photos of today and passing them off as yesterday.

He's a Clinton fan isn't he? Despite being a Republican?

Hard to see a lot of difference between the Bushes (sic) and the Clintons. Have to wonder with the Democratic party moving leftward combined with the Repubilcans already having moved towards the right, if there is not room for a centralized party that swings slightly left or right depending on the mood of the voters. The Bush and Clinton supporters would fit right in.

People are saying that more people have turned out in DC today in protest and support of the march than did yesterday for the inauguration. That's got to hurt if true.

Surprised he hasn't had anything to say about the protest marches yet.

Thanking FOX news for their review of his speech.. President Trump is hilarious

Of course there's "room" for a party but the American political system is so deeply entrenched in its ways that it will always be a two party system.

You are probably right, the US has always really only had a two party system, since they started having parties. But that "room" seems larger than any other time in history, at least recent history.

Replacements are possible (as with Whigs to Republicans), doubt it's possible for a third or .5 party to gain much traction under the current system though. Only happened in the UK because of a massive increase in suffrage.

The current US system is basically PL with no sugar daddies. The only way a 3rd party can gain traction and break the mould is if a group of billionaires start funding them big time, winning local and congressional races before putting a credible face onto the national scene.

It's an expensive, long and arduous process, so the billionaires are sticking to the current system.

Feel deeply confused by the worldwide protests against tRump today. On the one hand, Im passionately involved, spent 3 hours this afternoon in central London with other protesters and now watching people across entire USA doing the same. Its a democratic right to express ourselves, especially when in the context of minorities and discrimination.

At the same time, I'm incredibly frustrated that the democratic process produced BrExit and Trump as the most representative narrative of the Western world. Trump has every right to tell us all to shut up and deal with losing. He is simply the mirror image of mass Western opinion.

Protesting might make losers feel abit better, but in reality it achieves very little. Blair still went to war, BrExit was voted in and Trump spent last night sleeping in the White House. Our efforts should have been more effective when we had the chance.

Very confused.

Not sure what there is to be confused about - the political process doesn't have to end with an election. Protests aren't an end in themselves, but if they lead to a more engaged electorate, more people pressuring their representatives and more people turning up to vote in two years, they're a positive step.

Some of these protests have massive crowds.

80,000 votes decided this election in the 3 states of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. More than 80,000 are protesting in Boston right now.

Impressive numbers. It's also impressive how those rural votes really added up to negate the angry, more metropolitan masses that we're currently seeing out on the streets.

Mostly bitter lezzers, to be ignored.

MAGA!

They seem to be a bunch of insufferable cnuts. I wanted to check your opinion first in case I triggered you again. Madonna giving them all a speech.. makes you want to be sick.
