I agree. It's likely either the Senate or House will flip during Biden's presidency, which will severely handicap him given the GOP's general obstructionist attitude. The margin was very close this time, and the GOP will have an easy narrative next time ('Biden accomplished nothing and Harris is a nobody'). As long as their candidate has some charisma and some credibility with their core, they can turn that narrow loss around. The Dems really can't take anything for granted, I'd say.Four years time when the Democrats have failed yet again to do what they need to do to keep voters turning out for them there'll be a Republican president, especially with the likelihood that they'll be going up against Harris rather than incumbent Biden being reasonably high.
Fully expect Dems to flounder for two years then a Republican Senate and House majoirty to obstruct for the last two.
Plus they won't dare go after Trump even though they absolutely should and that'll stick in people's heads enough to keep them away from the polls.
Please, please let me be wrong but it'd be typical.

Same. I used to go on holidays in Scotland, wouldn't want to be on the same continent as him. I bet they could find a nice damp hut on St. Helena for him.He can feck right off we don't want him and I live nowhere near Scotland.
I can't see him resigning.
Donny, like many of his kind, when he was riding high, royally fecked off a lot of ‘folks’. Let me see; in his case the list includes - The Capitol mobsters, letting them get in deep trouble and even die at his behest, only to be rapidly sold down the river. But they are just small fry. Try the FBI... or... Certain generals, and ex-army people. Lots of powerful prosecutors... a long queue.Same. I used to go on holidays in Scotland, wouldn't want to be on the same continent as him. I bet they could find a nice damp hut on St. Helena for him.
He's still strangely quiet on Twitter. There surely must be a lot of juicy stuff going on in the background in DC at the moment. Something has a firm grip around his gonads at the moment.
Won’t he just tweet from the President’s account for a couple of weeks?
Ah I see. That's an official account controlled by his aides I think
Or borrow Ivanka's phoneit’ll be funny when he starts making temp accounts from different email addresses.
Reminds me of certain banned posters in the Caf returning in disguise and getting found out!it’ll be funny when he starts making temp accounts from different email addresses.
This is the best season finale ever.
Worst than losing the presidency. The man lives to post. This is the worst thing that has ever happened to him.
I don't think it's pointless. He still has millions of devoted followers (well, not followers in that sense any more, lol). Limiting his ability to stir up shit is still helpful.Pointless PR exercise for Twitter.
It's closing the barn door after the horse has bolted, gone to live in the wild and sired a herd of feral horses.
He would've rather died of covid.Worst than losing the presidency.
I think trump's twitter has just been permabanned?
I bet Toobin really regrets having that wank. He's missed two months of journo manna from heaven
