I agree. It's likely either the Senate or House will flip during Biden's presidency, which will severely handicap him given the GOP's general obstructionist attitude. The margin was very close this time, and the GOP will have an easy narrative next time ('Biden accomplished nothing and Harris is a nobody'). As long as their candidate has some charisma and some credibility with their core, they can turn that narrow loss around. The Dems really can't take anything for granted, I'd say.

It depends on GOP shakes out post Trump. If Trump himself or one of his surrogates is up for (re)election in 2024, will it be on GOP ticket?

Donny, like many of his kind, when he was riding high, royally fecked off a lot of ‘folks’. Let me see; in his case the list includes - The Capitol mobsters, letting them get in deep trouble and even die at his behest, only to be rapidly sold down the river. But they are just small fry. Try the FBI... or... Certain generals, and ex-army people. Lots of powerful prosecutors... a long queue.
I’d say those gonads are squeezed alright. Invisible pressure pump, getting tighter and tighter, as his power drains away. It won’t let up till those gonads are compressed down to two sand grains - little shimmering microscopic diamonds.
