Trump's cabinet picks appear to be interested in their respective departments in the same way that kamikaze pilots are interested in planes.
It's true though, they're for privatisation of services and small government. If they under-fund, and mismanage these until they collapse, it works in the party's interest long term.

The thing is the Democrats will work with them. No chance they'll hold the line to block the supreme Court nomination for example. They are nowhere near as good at obstructionism as the Republicans.
