Is this the actual motherlode? Not that it'll make a ton of difference if it is, just hard to tell after the false alarms.

It should be but it'll probably be smothered by shouts of "fake news" and "he donates his salary".

Along with the ‘savvy business move’ refrains.
The only thing that is really going to bring down Trump is Trump. Like the Colonel in A Few Good Men. During the debate Biden needs to keep calling Trump a fraud and hopefully Trump then goes on a tirade where he insults gun touting country bumpkins and calls Jesus a cnut.

Interesting reading.
The IRS needs to keep the pressure on the Trump organization and on the refunds it received.
The twitter response are predictable; bots praising his smarts for paying less in taxes and questioning Biden’s massive tax bill and how he can have that much in taxes and be a public servant. The 2016 tax payments might be better barometer.

Biden’s high tax burden came due to his speeches & a book in 2017, something pretty common for a first year after being VP. It’s amazing that so many people can’t realize this or simply choose to omit it from any of their arguments.

I love the logic he's pushing here:

NYTimes publishes huge story, claiming to have his actual tax returns as the source.
Trump: Fake news.
Everyone: okay, sure, just show us your tax returns then.
Trump: Squirrel.

Trumpites: Trump trolled the libs.

The exact same tactics, results and defences for every single scandal he has been involved in on an almost daily basis since running for and becoming President.

Is anybody really shocked?

The scene from Motherless Brooklyn in the swimming baths where Alec Baldwin says to Edward Norton that "Real power is being able to do anything you want and knowing nobody can do a thing about it" just reminded me of Trump's entire life and most certainly his Presidency.

He has infinite ammo to throw at him. Pornstars, Russia, Covid, tax, racism. Just barrage him with that shit.

He apparently has $431m of loans coming due in his second term.

Surely that can't be a thing that's permitted in a President?

You'd think he'd be super easy to bait, right, with his ego and total lack of knowledge of anything. I just hope Biden won't try to be above that. A little push, and Trump will use the n word like I bet he does at home.

You may like this article from a debate coach on what strategy Blden should use and what he should avoid. Some of it is more or less along the lines of what you're saying. Interesting read I thought : https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cn...ons/debate-advice-for-biden-graham/index.html
