A full year after that "controversy"

He asks visitors if they’d like to wash their hands in a bathroom near the Oval Office.

He’ll send a military doctor to help an aide caught coughing on Air Force One.

And the first thing he often tells his body man upon entering the Beast after shaking countless hands at campaign events: “Give me the stuff” — an immediate squirt of Purell.

“If you’re the perpetrator of a cough or of a sneeze or any kind of thing that makes you look sick, you get that look,” said a former Trump campaign official. “You get the scowl. You get the response of — he’ll put a hand up in a gesture of, you should be backing away from him, you should be more considerate and you should extricate yourself from the situation.”

Trump has even admitted that his germaphobia “could be a psychological problem,” as he told Howard Stern during a 1993 interview in which he also said he washes his hands “as many times as possible” during the day. He also told Stern in 2007 that he was even afraid of his own child — Barron Trump was a baby at the time — when he became sick.

“When he has a cold, I just keep him away from me,” he said, and then laughed with Stern.

Asked if he considered wearing a mask while with these 90+-year-old veterans today, Trump says no because he was "far away" from them and "plus the wind was blowing so hard and such a direction that if the plague ever reached them, I'd be very surprised."

Trump says of the elderly veterans he was with today without wearing a mask: "They're so pure, it will never happen, alright? They've lived a great life."

And the Air Force has never before had planes like the F18 or F35; even Fox News will have shown footages of those things in action. They’ve flown overhead before sporting events ffs!

I agree, it’s mind boggling to say the least.

I suppose for some of them it comes down to some sort of wilful ignorance. Everything about Trump should tell you he’s a serial liar and a terrible person, but it seems like he really has built a cult like following where no matter what appaling thing that comes out about him (and the list is endless), they’ll just brush it off because in their eyes he’s a very successful self made billionaire who is rebuilding the military and a wall. And if he is empowering the country bigly, who cares about a little lie here and there.
 
Ted Cruz and Joe Scarborough argue over who sold out more on Donald Trump


The argument began with Cruz accusing him of forwarding a “fraudulent” story from Jimmy Kimmel.




Scarborough shot back, reminding Cruz of how he used to be anti-Trump and then groveled and did his bidding even though he had personally insulted his family.



Cruz, uncowed, accused Scarborough of spending the 2016 election cycle chasing Trump for ratings.




At this point, Scarborough’s fellow host Chris Hayes cut in to express his amazement that this is what a U.S. senator was spending his time doing.




Trump as dragged everybody down in the mud.

That's absolutely nothing compared to putting an eventually very popular president on trial. Trump's base isn't going to get any more excited for Trump, they're already the maximum amount of excited, but there's a quite a lot of Obama-Trump voters out there without whom Trump literally cannot win.
 
I absolutely hope they do put Obama on trial.

Clearly it will be an absolute shambles but most importantly it will set a precedent. I genuinely fear that Trump will be left alone as a former president because there is so much respect the institution. If they drag Obama through a shoe trial, it’s game on.

Of course they won’t, just like they never did with Clinton. They’re not totally stupid, they’re perfectly aware that getting laughed out of a courtroom is a very bad look, whereas continually implying that they’re going to get these ‘criminals’ any day now is a great way to keep their dumbfeck supporters fired up and drooling.
 
Oh that’s priceless, someone in the comments noticed the .50 cal is actually made of wood painted black. They really are cosplaying at soldiers. :lol:
