Because the public only care about the positive things (unless it was Obama) and ive seen numerous fb posts about his recent behaviour being applauded as he is "just like me" as if you would be a leader and half sleep your way through an address to the nation, a case of what happened recently and not everything behind you in that room on fire.
He's at 45% approval which is about as high as he's ever been.
China will crush the USA as the strongest superpower of the 21st century. I think it was bound to happen anyway, this guy will just make it quicker.

The USA has now officially overtaken China as the country with the most covid-19 cases. I think I might start calling it the Trump Virus.
The only collective information from all countries that I found were from 23. Of march and USA from the 21st so it has probably changed a bit over the course of last 3-5 days I am sure. But now the USA has overtaken China in most cases now 84000 cases in the USA. And if the Orange Duck had taken this seriously to begin with you might have had a fighting chance but with the virus having a month of a head start because he was so knowledgeable on all fronts it will get really bad at his Homefront pretty soon.

Didn’t really run per se simply told friends and family to vote for me if they didn’t like either choice and everyone knew that Hilary would win California.

Well the USA is about 6-7 weeks behind China and about 3-4 weeks behind Europe. China has reached 83900 since November or early December with first cases declared by WHO begining of January. Knowing what we know now the numbers will double every two days in the coming weeks but as more people seem to have been infected and going freely about their business in the US when others had already started testing and taking measurements, I fear that this will hit the US harder than anything we have seen before. On the 17th the USA had about 6000 confirmed cases, 20th just over 12000 and today we are up to 84000 so that is about x2 every two days. So we could have somewhere around 250 - 300000 cases at the end of this month. It's going to be a long long time in America before things will go anywhere close to becoming back to normal.
Fox News are focusing on the Neil Ferguson study. Seems like hope more than science.

I am not dismissing your point. I am just saying that the claim that US has done more tests than any other country * is factually correct. And the claim came from doctor Bryx, Trump was totally unaware of it, but since then he has been bragging about it. US having more cases than Italy is not surprising, it has 5 times more people. I don't trust any of the China's numbers tbf.

But then again it has done so in alarmingly short period. My point is more that due to your regime totally inept response to this threat it was allowed to go on untried and untested for such a long time that by the time the testing would begin there would be a lot of cases out there. Its going to a very very tough period for you guys and my heart truely goes out to you. The numbers in China well who knows but they are also a nation that is used to follow strict rules.
Here in Iceland there hs been strict policy since middle of febuary and even more so since late febuary, testing testing testing and home quarantine for all that possably have been in contact with a covid infected person (just finished 14 days yesterday myself) that has resulted that almost 60% of new cases are already in quarantine when they get diagnosed so they are not spreading it around. I just wished the US would have taken this seriously to begin with as this will get very very ugly fast.

Not sure. Again, according to Dr. Byrx, they are working in a backlog of tests, so when you see 12k new cases, some of them are accumulated cases from previous days. The first infections in US happen more or less the same time they happened in Italy, so it is not out of mind to think that the progression has been similar in both cases, but the US was just not doing tests and so the numbers looked artificially low. The increase in numbers in the last 10 days has more to do with the increase of testings IMO.
I love what Fauci is doing but even 2 weeks ago when he was saying 'we see what is happening in Italy and we don't want to be like Italy' was kind of ridiculous. The US was in a similar deep shit back then, just that no testings, no infections.

'mildly protesting' is just the same as not bothering at all to be honest. Not that she would go against her own husband anyway. So, in her case, it would probably be best if she just said nothing at all. She should be focusing behind the scenes on getting him to change his behaviour.

I agree you don´t find what you don´t look for. But again if Italy was blasted by not having reacted soon enough what will they say about the US strategy? This will be Trumps downfall I am sure of it this is just at the beginning of the problem in the USA.
