Trump is doing what he does best which is keeping the conversation away from his many failures as President. Keep everyone talking about stuff like John McCain and calling people names on Twitter and we all won't notice how his tariffs are hitting American farmers hard. Or how his tax cuts have ballooned the deficit or how his immigration policies are still inhumane. He thrives in an environment of smoke and mirrors and it's exactly what he's doing now especially with the Mueller report pending. IMHO, I think the Mueller report won't be released till next year, closer to the election.
