These spelling mistakes are on purpose, you know that right? It's a tactic.

 FFS!

No. No it isn't at all. Hence why he often deletes them and reposts them with the correct spelling after he has been humiliated and mocked (smocked) about it.

I know it's hard to accept but I'm afraid he really is that fecking dim.

Oh I believe he is fecking dim and I'm not saying the tactic is from him. I believe he dictates them to his Twitter guru. If you've ever worked with them then what the want is engagement above all else. Purposefully misspelling things is one of the tactics used to get everyone talking about you and the tweet, sharing it around.

Wait, so his new argument is a better lawyer would have performed his crime better and he would have gotten away with it? He just said this? To 100m people?

I have no words for Trump fans.

But with everything that's going on he doesn't need any misspelling of words to have his tweet shared around, that's going to happen regardless.

Yeah, I don't quite buy that argument either. I guess it's the logical conclusion of the "Trump knows what he's doing, it's all a strategy" line of thinking that some people adopted.

Doesn't mean they're not still sticking to an old tactic. I believe a lot of the stuff is done on purpose. For instance the paper on the shoes while getting onto airforce 1 I believe was staged. It's not about making people like him. It's about making people feel passionately about him one way or the other. Feed the haters, play up to the supporting base. You're not going to do anything either wants anyway but you want them talking about you all the time and it's worked. He's been involved and done enough to sink every president that's ever been but instead we can't keep up. I believe this is a tactic from his Russian masters and their politics of confusion and disassociation. All part of what Curtis discussed in that newswipe episode.

Nick Ayers apparently being investigated over some campaign funding from the past. Guy supposedly made $54m by the age of 34 from ‘political consulting’.

Not at all I don't think he has any idea what he's doing. He's an idiot. A centre point of theatre to keep us all distracted. His one and only job is to get our attention. He will go down but it won't matter. You think of the damage his rule has done already.

Based on the premise of that video, does that not suggest that the video itself could be a tool for this perpetual confusion?

IIRC he used to be a lobbyist which would make $54M not entirely out of the blue plus he has some land in Georgia through family and his wife is from a wealthy family as well.

A good piece on it in the FT earlier this year.

Just no no no. Trump and his minions didn't sit around and come up with a machevelian plot to put toilet roll on his shoe. Read or listen to anyone who has dealt with this guy and they will tell you he is a genuine idiot. His narcissism doesn't allow him to be made fun off except for a little swoosh of his hair on the Jimmy Fallon show.
Isn't it far more plausible that he couldn't get his arse clean so had bog paper everywhere during the struggle and one peice stuck to the bottom of his shoe?
Donald Trump has never been held to the fire because white collar crime and massive debt doesn't worry him the way it would other people. Let's just stop with the notion that he is playing everyone, he's not. He's just another fecking bully with a massive ego who no one has bothered to properly engage in battle. A Dem controlled house along with Muller and the SDNY will put an end to it.

It's so dumb. He's admitting to a transaction here which undoubtedly Mueller has all of the receipts on.
Sure, he's admitted to it. He's standing there holding a smocking gun with the corpse lying beside him. But you underestimate Trump's canny ability to brilliantly shut down the narrative with his eloquent response of "I never said that. Wrong!"

4D chess? Motherfecker's playing in another reality to the rest of us. Up is down, daughters are girlfriends, cats are up, Mueller is rice. Unstoppable.

Don't you misspell the words or phrases that you want to be repeated?

It's worked with 'no smocking gun' as people will just hear 'no smoking gun'.

Political experts, I mean hacks, disagree and say otherwise. It's pathetic really.

When did opinion pieces become more commonplace in the media than actual factual reporting? It's like a fecking disease and only helps play in to Trump's constant Fake News narrative. The media love Trump, he's a fecking godsend for them and they are milking it for all they are worth and for as long as they can.
