Though, yeah, in general he does a lot of rallies. That's what demagogues do. And as much as Trump likes to think he is spontaneous and original, he is pretty much textbook in that regard.

I’m still having a hard time seeing the POTUS blurting out accusatory, political propaganda on Twitter. Is this a common thing in England, too?

I mean, “Chuck and Nancy, call me”:lol:

Not to be a dick, but the the US were hardly any sort of shining light before Trump arrived. Trump just showed the world exactly how daft a country it really is.

I can't believe how americans do not seem to be aware of how people outside the US view them and view the US (i'm not talking about langster here but your regular american overall).

We were moving in the right direction (gradually) before he arrived. It's not like anyone else has bothered to step up and take the lead for freedom, outside of perhaps Germany.
 
America has never been a shining light. Their atrocities are countless. Played vital roles in genocide like Indonesia, slavery. The list is endless.

Damn I often get accused of that. I know I mainly frequent the US politics forums here but that's only because of the huge influence over the UK and also because I find it fascinating. Also having lots of friends and family there I've always been a keen follower of US history and culture and politics.

Also, I avidly avoid UK politics threads, especially the Brexit thread as it's likely I would have been banned by now. I hear it 24/7 in the pub, and it just gets me so angry most of the time. I don't want to see the same bs here too :lol:

Of course for a decent amount of people that’s never been true, but Americans have never let facts get in the way of a good line of BS.

Trump says US will pull out of intermediate range nuke pact

ELKO, Nevada (AP) — President Donald Trump said Saturday he will pull the United States from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty because Russia has violated the agreement, but he provided no details on the violations.

The 1987 pact, which helps protect the security of the U.S. and its allies in Europe and the Far East, prohibits the United States and Russia from possessing, producing or test-flying a ground-launched cruise missile with a range of 300 to 3,400 miles.

“Russia has violated the agreement. They have been violating it for many years,” Trump said after a rally in Elko, Nevada. “And we’re not going to let them violate a nuclear agreement and go out and do weapons and we’re not allowed to.”

The agreement has constrained the U.S. from developing new weapons, but America will begin developing them unless Russia and China agree not to possess or develop the weapons, Trump said. China is not currently party to the pact.

Yep and Comey is displaying an astounding ignorance about his own organization and the shenanigans they got up to under Hoover. Trump is just such a massively odious cnut that other lesser cnuts look nice next to him.

Help end two world wars to keep Europeans from ending civilization for starters. And develop an international system of governance to prevent humanity from wiping itself off the face of the universe as an encore.

Yeah sure, because that had nothing to do with American interests.

Take the lead for freedom .... all the countries you 'freed' are such nice places now and obviously, you did it for the freedom of said countries, nothing else. I don't think anyone asked you, nor wanted you to 'free' those countries ... self-righteousness at its best.
