I think she may be riding the Trump gravy train (like many others in the administration) but isn't a true believer.
Must be weird feeling about Trump the way we all do (at least on this forum) and then have your wife work for the man and show up at one news segment after another defending him.

Key question now is whether the WH and the GOP leadership were made aware of these allegations during the vetting process.
The article says she contacted the Post first in early July and then her senator late July. Why is it only getting out now? Is it possible the Dems were playing politics with the timing by trying to release the news at the last possible moment? And would this have come out at all/even later if the Feinstein letter story didn't leak?

Of course, they’re trying to drag out the hearings for Kavanaugh as long as possible and then disqualify him late in the process so there’s not enough time to confirm another justice before the midterms. Running down the clock is the only chance they have to avoid seating a hard right judge.
