I understand this point, but on the other hand isn't part of the free market that it's your shop and your choice who you do and do not want to serve?
If you're working for the government or as a doctor, for which you have to make an oath to help people, it's a different story. But if you own a restaurant or a bakery you can serve whomever you want at your leisure imo.
Not advocating people denying service on any grounds, but it should be their choice by law.

I am torn on this one. As a business owner I believe I have the right to deny service to anyobe I choose, within the law. I also choose not to provide certain services. Many establishments have signs saying exactly that, they have the right to deny. However, as a business person, I would not want to make a decision that would damage my business. Think the restaurant owner made a bad business call, not an illegal call. Be very hard to prove she has denied service to all republicans. This is pretty much a petty action which does not deserve the air time it is getting, but both sides will use it for point scoring.

No idea, I'm not in the UK. I get the impression from that writing exam that that was the age of the student taking that exam from what they write in it, 14/15. I do the IGCSE version of it which that exam is in as far as I know.
