It was always going to go like this. He made specific promises to so many groups. Such is the nature of politics that compromises would have to be made at some point and these groups are not open to compromises and Trump didn’t earn their alligence with promises of compromises.

You have to face it though, Trump could suck Obama's cock live-on-air and 80% of his base would call it 4D Chess.
 
His base are obviously angry but as has often been pointed out they tend to crawl back to him. I imagine the disillusionment will eventually kick in fully though.

Pretty sure the God-Emperor reference comes from Frank Herbert. One of the later Dune novels was titled God-Emperor of Dune.

Kinda funny when you think that the God-Emperor of Dune, Leto Atreides II was literally transforming into a large sand worm.

If the Stormy thing isn't explosive enough to actually bring Trump down, then I'm not interested. We've had years of 'Al Capone's vault'-type bait only to be underwhelmed again and again.

I doubt it will have much effect honestly. Just an entertaining bonus and compensation for following his brain farts for 427 days, plus the odd chance it might actually tip him over the edge :wenger:
