I've definitely heard the notion back in my student days that good (expensive) cocaine is relatively fine/safe to take (apart from the effect itself) and it's just a case of avoiding cheap shit. Not that I've ever taken a dive into it myself so that's possibly nonsense.
I've actually done cocaine a few (let's not define the word few) times and while the expensive or 'pure' kind may be relatively harmless to your body, the craving for more and the ability to drink 10 pints without feeling a thing make it far more dangerous than alcohol to me.
Now I've personally always been extremely careful with drugs, but I know more than a few people who got into serious problems because of them.

There was a time it was literally everywhere here. Antwerp is supposed to be the cocaine capital of Europe. Makes sense in a way: giant harbor so big supply, high standard of living, liberal state.

But yea, here it's mostly people with a bit of disposable income too. Though I think in Holland the taboo on drugs is a lot less existant than it is in most countries. whether that's a good thing, no idea, but I've experimented with it a bit when I was in my early 20s, but now that I'm a 34 yr old old man, I've had enough

As if Trump knows the meaning of excoriate. Knew he'd mention Obama. Difference is, Obama didn't congratulate him after Russia meddled in the elections (in fact he expelled 35 Russian diplomats and imposed sanctions which Trump ignored) or after Russia used nerve agent on a supposed allied country.

If I had to guess, it would be added to make a chloride "salt" from the basic substance present within cocaine. (Which means it would not exist as HCl after the reaction)

yeh thats what most of the cartels use. they could also use acetic acid but i guess hydro chloric is more easily available
