I know, same age as me. When I look at him as a person and then look at myself I wonder "where did I go so right in my life?"
 
Stumbled upon this. I don't know if it's been posted before but it's so fantastic that it's surely worth a repost.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the President of the United States..

Somebody made the statement that Donald Trump has built or owns the greatest collection of golf courses, ever, in the history of golf. And I believe that is 100 percent true. I have the best courses in the world.

I went to one of the best schools.

On trade, there’s nobody more conservative than me. I’m the most conservative when it comes to military, when it comes to the border, when it comes to security, when it comes to illegal immigration: all of these things. I think I’m the most conservative person there is. I am the only one who can fix our southern border. There is nobody more against Obamacare than me.

I could fix TV talk shows that are doing poorly. There is tremendous talent out there waiting to be tapped, and nobody sees it!

I am the worst thing that ever happened to ISIS.

Firstly they have been talking about it. Secondly he's acting as if it's a personal affront to himself and if it's some kind of miracle and unheard of event for the UN to agree unanimously on something. He sounds like he's saying that he's responsible and deserves credit for it. Once again he's unbelievable and deluded.

Do the numbers that Kyle Griffin guy has been tweeting about really mean anything? If he's sourcing the numbers from places like CNN or his followers on Twitter or something of the sort, then that's not a reflection of the ground reality should say something like an election were to take place in the near future, let alone 3+ years in future.

I think these are from the new CNN poll. The numbers are relevant because they back up a series of recent polling that shows Trump's numbers are plummeting with the general population, and now they are finally moving down with his actual political base. The polls obviously have nothing to do with the 2020 election, but they do show that Republican politicians are starting to use Trump's sagging numbers to push back against him, which means he won't have much political support going forward on his policy agenda as well as with the Russia investigations.

There is apparently some history between Blumenthal and Trump. Blumenthal's father in law and Trump were mired in a battle for ownership of the Empire State building years ago, and given how we know Trump holds a grudge, it almost surely annoys the hell out of him that a member of that family is still a thorn in his side today.

Yeah, like all the dictators, he has got a big ego.
 
I'm just so sick of the hypocrisy he displays. It's non stop and nobody ever gets to actively call him out on it to see his response.

We've seen with the CBS This Morning interview that when he's badgered and pestered to give a proper answer he sulks and tells people to go away. I want to see more of that on a daily basis. The press need to step up their game, get interviews face to face with him and then call him out flatly on all the bullshit he spews until he can't respond any more.

This polls CNN audience right? The same poll on f&f would probably be reversed...

Like Fox News often do? :lol: That always makes me chuckle. Most channels usually commission polls yet Fox often just poll their own viewers AND then run the poll on the fact it's mainly Fox Viewers that have been involved. Talk about being inside an echo chamber.

Its not unusual for the networks to do flash polls after events like debates. Fox also do their own normal polls which are fairly well respected in terms of methodology. The ones Trump usually quotes however, are their online polls where 90% say they think he's great.

They do, especially around election time, they are usually incredibly accurate too. However, that's the sane and sensible Fox where Shep Smith and Chris Wallace work, not the insane Hannity or Fox & Friends parallel Fox Universe.

Just an update on things in South Carolina...

Just took a picture of a truck next to me at a red light flying a Confederate flag out the bed, Trump, Confederate, NRA, and White Nationalist stickers all over it, driven by a couple of guys who are most likely cousins and brothers at the same time, and the truck was a fecking 1980s Nissan

Unfortunately, this is such a good confirmation how far behind we lack in general awareness and knowledge as a nation. That said there was also Brexit so Europe isn't as far ahead as you'd think.
