That and he can do more damage indirectly by eliminating the mandate that everyone should have health insurance which would mean the younger, healthier people would pull out of riskier pools of old and sick thereby inflating policy premiums.

Exactly. I'm not American so I'm mostly detached from the consequences of this but I can't see any reason for the Dems to not sabotage the Republicans at every turn. Trump is despised and oblivious and the Republicans take corruption and idiocy to incredible heights. It sounds dramatic but I think the Dems are wasting their time working with most Republicans. Just focus on beating them. A dysfunctional government seems preferable to a republican one.
