President Carter had been hospitalised a few days ago, due to dehydration and this president/WH didn't bother to even issue a statement or any comments on it.

Carter is a great human being but dismal president. US liberals like to denounce Reagan's economic policies and rightly so but it was Carter who started the trend with deregulation of airlines, trucking, oil excavation as well as increased military spending.
No US president post Nixon, ironically, has pursued a remotely labour-friendly economics.
Its easy to find one off things and poke holes in literally any Presidency. The point we're making is that Carter is a great human being, not a great President, which of course is more subjective.

There will never be a perfect US president. Increased military spending was well before and after Carter. Isn't he also the only recent president in recent history that hasn't fired a shot? My problem with the way Carter is perceived by the right is that his cool head and empathy was misinterpreted as weakness. A genuinely nice guy and a good president.

Carter's only problem was Iran.
He was the last Democratic president who actually cared about ordinary people.
I'm not talking about increased military spending year on year as a result of inflation, I'm talking about Reagan style pumping up that sector drastically while cutting benefits and deregulated environmentally hazardous industries at the same time. On not firing a shot, it's admirable but really the nation had no appetite for war so soon after Viet Nam and his administration still engaged in proxy war with the USSR in Afghanistan anyway.
Reagan was worse, but Carter did run him pretty close in domestic policies. Party affiliation shouldn't change historical facts.
If the Republicans do nothing after all this evidence, they should be branded as traitors. That is how the Democrats should run against them.

I was listening to Rick Wilson (on Periscope) last night and he was downright pessimistic that a Republican congress will ever impeach Trump.
I too find it hard to see a Republican congress getting rid of him. They are all parasites. Human beings have courage.
It would take the collusion thing being taken to a new level imo. If it is revealed that Trump knew about all of this then that would be a game changer as it would prove beyond any doubt that his campaign collided with the Russians. Right now we are still in the phase where everyone around him are getting hit. Once these people flip or testify under oath that Trump knew then his agenda will be officially dead and Republicans seeking self preservation (reelection) will have to abandon ship. At that point he will either get impeached or be a lame duck with no policies to advance due to his toxicity.
