Yea, but CR posted a link claiming Brits hyphenate "attorney general" so I was saying I'd never seen that done.

Yeah I noticed that after I laughed :nervous: then tried to cover my tracks...........

And now you've edited your post so I look like a crazy person

Sorry! :D

Honestly, when a student asks "Does this need a hyphen or not", the answer is "Check the dictionary because there's no hard and fast rules". And often there can be disagreement between different dictionaries.

? Reference to AG's vs AGs? No idea why it autocorrected the latter to the former.

The point stands though. Despite a phone screwing me over. AGs is expressed everywhere.

That was the one :) As for hyphenation, I'm going to run with it being something from an older style of writing which is largely disappearing, even in the British press.

Wow. What a heartless bitch, also a very dim one because using her logic and twisting it back on her then she shouldn't mind paying towards UHC then seeing as everyone is going to die and she obviously won't need money.

Clueless, shameless, heartless turd. That's sound better.

I was reading this article where the agency said everything was legal and above board.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...se-in-full-compliance/?utm_term=.abc08b846709

If the word "immediate" was added before benefit I could see it. But let's be honest, Trump benefits.

Government officials overseeing the Trump International Hotel’s lease with the federal government have determined the deal is in “full compliance” despite a clause in the agreement barring any “elected official of the government of the United States” from deriving “any benefit.”

As low as 12% approval rating for the Senate healthcare bill. Perhaps not helped by nearly using an acronym/abbreviated? form of breast cancer (BrCa) as the acronym for the bill (BCRA). We need to add "and acronym discussion" to the thread title

If this bill does not pass, the Democrats should not be satisfied.

they should run with the same mantra.
"Repeal and replace" Except this time they should say they are replacing the Republican bill and replace with Medicare For All.
Let the Republicans deny that Obamacare was never replaced.

Schiller will know a lot of stuff. Has been with Trump for a long time and is one of his closest confidants.

He was the guy who Trump got to hand deliver the termination letter to Comey.

Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States.

For feck sake.

I've gone past the stage of being dismayed by his stupidity but it makes me sad to think there are people out there that genuinely relate to that kind of behaviour, especially from someone in a position of authority.

He truly is one of them now. Sad thing is we are all lumped with the PoS.

He's become the redneck Trump rally attendee himself, and that core base of his will love his behavior. It's galling.

Ryan as just said that Trumps tweets do not improve the tone of the debate.Republicans showing some frustration?

I think Trump's suffered the biggest backlash today from his party since he became president.

Some tweets from the GOP

Give him enough rope and he'll take care of the rest. Let's hope the Trump/Russia stuff along with flopping on healthcare combined with this tweet will send him reeling even lower.

Remember, all he has going for him is GOP support in Congress. If he loses that, then he's basically a lame duck.

I still think it'll take a lot for the GOP to actually get to the point of ousting him, considering how spineless they are. But he's certainly doing a lot of the work right now.

They don't have to oust him, the mere act of pushing back on him will stall his legislative agenda, which when you combine that with Mueller and the two Congressional investigations will cause him to keep doing irrational things. At some point all of this will reach a tipping point.
