Now watch how Trump turns off the escalators just before Mitt arrives. It would be so hilarious.
The guy that predicted the Trump election (and ever election since 1984 using a model that fit every election since 1860) now thinks Trump will be impeached (and I happen to agree that it is likely)
Bit more explanation on the theory here:
Just to nick pick but didn't he "successfully" predict both a Gore and Trump win and claim he was correct on both? Gore because he won the popular and Trump because he won the EC.
In retrospect, Obama v Romney was the equivalent to season 7 of the West Wing. Oh for those times again.
Of courseRight now I'd argue a Romney win in 2012 might have been alright in that it would've prevented Trump. At best he'd have been beaten in 2016 by Hilary (cause she was always the candidate this year), and at worst in 2020 someone else steps up and beats him.
Of course
But yet he was portrayed as a fool by the media, as was McCain. Both were far better than the two choices the yanks had this time
Yeah from a greater good point of view, though Obama being only a single term President after his successes and the shit the nutjobs threw at him would've been incredibly galling. On the plus side, he'd be be free to run again!
Still got a vague hope that the reaction causes something more powerful to get built over the next few years and humiliates him next time out, but I've learned not to be overly optimistic with politics of late.
Nearly every week a bumbling Romney moment appeared during the election run in and was hammered down to all. That's bollocks. He was seen as smart but out of touch with the little people.
Think he's still trying to avoid a citizen's arrest from the shadow chancellor. What's Tony Blair up to these days? He's 3-0 in elections...

Certainly was the case over here

Romney was the one going on about Russia being a dangerous enemy so it's odd that he's possibly going to work in an administration that admires Putin so much and has many ties to him.
This is a great (extremely long but a pleasure to read) piece following Obama before, during and after last week's election, gives a feel of what he's been trying to do in the time since and also a reminder of what made him an amazing candidate
Would love it if he had one final part to play over the next few years.

Yeezus
Trump settles fraud case against Trump University for $25M

Yup...he was cold, detached...calculating...A vulture...buying up failing companies etc etc...driven by money. That's bollocks. He was seen as smart but out of touch with the little people.
So Mr "I don't settle lawsuits" is settling one for $25 MILLION? He knew he was done and there was some damning evidence that was going to be revealed in court.

I find it odd, too. The potential for nepotism is alarming - people do it all the time in business of course, which is all Trump knows.I find the whole thing odd. You have a bunch of anti-Semites and racists and then you have some serious Jewish supporters and of course the Son-in-law who is actually Jewish. Some who support gay marriage and abortion and many who don't, some who believe in climate change and some who don't. If you ask me it's a recipe for disaster. Everyone (myself included) were worried about the President elect and his mob starting wars, well maybe the only one they actually start is amongst themselves. That aside though, It really is shaping up to be the most dangerous and definitely the most odious, racist and bigoted cabinet assembled in US history.
In truth I suspect he is busy handpicking the secret service agents that are going to arrange for those involved in the case to have an accident

Got booed earlier on by audience folk.He didn't get booed. The cast was actually very respectful in the manner they addressed him.
