They will if they don't start winning trophies. The biggest club in London. With new stadium and revenues they won't be far off.

Those fans that you talk about have gotten onto the chealse bandwagon hence chelsea makes more money commercially than Arsenal. It's not the only way to compete as Chelsea and Man City have proven, fan bases have come afterwards. Pre Harding Chelsea didn't have fans anywhere outside of various Kent caravan parks.
But you are right, in that success does attract glory hunting tv club followers from largely Asia and Africa who will buy shirts and other club merchandise. These followers aren't going to choose to follow an Everton, Palace or Spurs, as previously they didn't choose to follow City or Chelsea. Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool are popular with the followers because when the game went global through international TV deals and the Internet they were the most successful sides domestically and in Europe at that time. As you say this all makes perfect sense to the sponsors etc.
But there are other ways, it will be interesting to see what the NPDP brings into Spurs in the long run and also where and to what value Spurs relationship with the NFL goes over the next 5-10 years. If in addition the club can become more regular participants in the CL at the expense of one of the over 2 the financial gap will close considerably.
Finally if there are any megamoney buyers out there, Spurs could be the most attractive proposition of the London clubs, we have already been linked with insanely wealthy groups from the Middle East and China. Personally this is something I would hate to see and indeed dread. I don't want Spurs turning into a City or Chelsea, the club I hope is morally much more valuable than that, but I fear that it will happen within the next 5 years, especially given how old Lewis is.
One thing is for certain, the gap will at least close, by how much or if it goes further than that remains to be seen.
So is Mike Dean still considered a Spurs shill around here or is he just a ref who makes poor high stakes decisions?

I guess he's on the United books too with that Feghouli decision. He is probably as much a Spuds shill as Webb was a United shill. You see how resilient that label was, hell yeah, a few of you probably joined in on it.
Now deal with it.
Not really. We're self sustaining now and have been since almost 2009. Abramovic isn't really involved in terms of cash influx anymore.Chelsea still rely heavily on their owners, Chelsea are the best part of £1 billion in debt to Abramovich.

Ask @VanGaalEra. He was the only one going on about it.
Would be something if it was high scoring.Spurs will stop Chelsea's winning run tonight, Spurs are a tough team to beat and were unlucky at the Bridge.
See it being a draw, possibly a high scoring draw.
Would be something if it was high scoring.
In a season and a half of league football Spurs have conceded more than two goals one single time in a game. That same game was also the only time anyone has beaten Spurs by a larger than one goal margin in that time as well.
Repeat of last year then, pleaseThey'll be pumped for this

You have over a $1 billion debt to Abramovich?
In all fairness to them, didn't he just write that off?

Here's a cool video showing something of what our new stadium will look like when finished:
Very nice. Will the fans be going that mental all the time though?
I expect so. The club will be running special fan-training sessions in the 23 different ways of doing that.
It looks very swish, no doubt. Are you happy to stick with the blue seats or would you prefer a change of colour (or could you not care less)?
They'll love having an NFL team tearing up the turf a few times a year.
There's an entirely separate pitch for NFL games. One pitch is retractable.
None of NFL games and the entertainment events (rock concerts etc.) will take place on the Spurs football pitch.
I hate Alli, but he can score some great goals.

Looking like 5 wins in a row, looking just as, if not more convincing than us. Spurs are underrated on here and we'll struggle to finish above them.
Nah. They have played well but we have the best form in the league which coincides with us beating them, comfortably.Looking like 5 wins in a row, looking just as, if not more convincing than us. Spurs are underrated on here and we'll struggle to finish above them.
