Good to see Stobz back in the league. Don't envy his situation though: 14 players in his squad 86+ rated, 6 are NMF and 3 are injured.
Why didn't you sell Friedel? With Buffon there and ter Stegen you've got a good situation. You could have sold Friedel for about £4M and save £40k per week on wages.
After that match I'm a bit more pessimistic about my United first team reviews.
Thoughts:
Anderson - no change
Cleverley - +3
de Gea - no change
Nani - -2 (ideally I wouldn't want him to go down at all, but lack of game time and not being in the squad last night has probably sealed the -2)
Rafael - + 1 (think he deserves +2 to 91 but for those who vote on SW, the performance against Reading and the first half against RM will probably prevent him getting it)
Smalling - no change
van Persie - + 1
Vidic - -2
I'm wrestling with the thought of selling Bender at the moment. I've managed to spectacularly miss out on signing after signing and i think perhaps letting Bender go would mean i'd get one or two players in, in positions which i'm currently weaker in. Then again, if i let Bender go my midfield is significantly weaker. Eh, i'm unsure.
Still, at least the team's doing well at the moment.
Beat villa 0-3.
Welbeck up to 90 as is Oscar.
That completes my rises thus far in England. It also gives me a first XI, plus subs, whom have a minimum rating of 90.
Pleased with that!
Thanks to this morning risers, my squad value now exceeds 200m. Which puts me 3rd highest in Div2, 6m behind Stoke and a massive 89m behind Reading!

I assume that Ando deal is off then Damo
So your De Gea compromise is no longer on the table. A sad day for Manchester United, its reputation tarnished yet further after the De Gea fiasco last season.

One day I'll log into this and there won't be a bid for Falcao of £1 mil plus two thirty one year old 89 rated donkeys waiting for me.
My biggest fear in life has become accidentally clicking the accept button when I'm on my phone.
Very good transfer... annoyingly. Gives you a bit of an advantage in the title race..
Was good to get Toure in as well, added a bit of steel to midfield...cost me Ivanovic, but brought in Rio for a short term fix until I can strengthen my back 3...
My big squad was the downfall in my attempts to sign him. My chairman would only let me put in a bid adding up to around £80M whereas I hear yours let you put one in up to around £100M. Best offer I could have put down was De Rossi, van Persie and £9M, but without my chairman I'd have been able to put one in with Vidic or possibly Ramos instead of De Rossi.
£100m was the cash only offer limit, in the end, it worked out about £85m in cash terms, which was the maximum I could do part exchange...
I've always found a first team limited to about 25 works best...in my own game world, which I've been playing since 2008, we have self imposed squad limits of 25 first team, and 15 youth, this stops player hoarding which was a problem because it stifled the transfer market as nobody was selling...
It makes you think more about your squad, rather than just signing everyone you can...if you want a new player, you have to let one go, makes it a bit more realistic, and really helped the transfer market...
Yeah, I'm working with a 25 man squad limit on my first team. For the youths I'm definitely planning on cutting down but for the first few months I wanted to give myself a bit of a cash boost to get funds so invested in some risers and players that would be here for the long haul. Quite a few of the players have risen so they'll be gone when their TBs end and I'm unlikely to bring anyone else in. In terms of youths I've got good depth (especially at LB).
