Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Unlucky TR, I offered his family a bag of peanuts and a frozen turkey. Seemed to be good enough offer to reject Bolton and the mighty Everton to join the Redsky revolution at Forest!

Not a bad debut for Ronaldo...granted in a friendly against Mansfield, but 6 goals and 4 assists on his debut...

sure, but can he do it on a wet and rainy monday night against Stoke???

I snapped up Per Mertesacker to give me move defensive cover.

Drew 1-1 against Spurs, good result.

Unfortunately Chelsea took the chance to increase their goal difference - by a lot.

Fortunately the teams immediately below me didn't win theirs so I stay second.

Drew against Coventry. Pleased with the result to be fair, kp has a few scalps already this season.

I'll take the draw!! Hopefully fortunes are improving.

Yeah, beat Darlington, feck you Darlington

So that's 4 Division 1 sides that are AI. Does no one want to take any of them over? Villa and West Brom have decent squads. Come on Damo, do some recruiting!!

Made two signings yesterday which i thought i'd have some competition for so i stuck in high bids. No one else tried to sign them.

In other news, a 10k riser i bought called Morgan Sanson has just had a +10 increase and is now worth £1.8M.

I thought I'd struggle against Newcastle, but a relatively pain free 5-0 win away from home...Ronaldo back in training as well...

I beat Swansea 3-7!! Mandzukic had a hat trick, Marveaux had a brace, Elia got one and new signing Toulalan managed to nick a goal as well. Crazy, crazy scoreline.

I had 54 shots and 26 on target

Other results seem to have gone our way as well. It's early in the season and a lot could change but right now you certainly look favourites, and Ronaldo in your squad gives you a big advantage.

Just noticed this:

Unfortunately, Daniele DE ROSSI has been badly injured during the last game.

Bollocks. That is the second time he has been injured this season, and he's been suspended in the past as well. He'll be out for 5 weeks

Manchester United/Chelsea combined XI:

Cech (92)

Ramos (95) Vidic (95) Silva (94)

Ribery (95) Schweinsteiger (94) De Rossi (94) Gotze (93)* Ozil (94)

Ronaldo (98) Messi (99)

*Chelsea's Toure and Sneijder have same rating so either of those could go there.

Forgot to change lineup. 5-0 drubbing to Les Arse

I gave it a go and kept a more attacking lineup. Wasnt to be! Not a bad time to lose, still a win away from 12th :p

I had 69 shots against them last game...36 on target...

Well, you're team is much better than theirs. Mine is probably at a similar level or worse. Either way, it's looking like Swansea are fecked.

Nah, right now your team is much better than theirs. Swansea have been gutted of their best players over the past month or so. Definitely going down and will probably keep on plummeting.

They do have a nice transfer kitty though (£93.2M).

No, it says you still own the gameworld. All that happened is you lost your national team.

I was talking to Barney (Liverpool manager) the other day and he said that you don't need to renew gold to keep the league.

Not a bad team that...

Why the feck is Levo now in charge of Villa from Fulham?

Can't see the point in the game if managers can just go from PL club to PL club when they see a team with a few more decent players available. The aim should be to fill the PL with managers and work down, not simply swap like a merry-go-round.

Now Fulham are vacant with a load of class players.

A couple of good midfield youth rises for me over the past week:

Tonny Vilhena from 18/77 -> 18/83
Leon Goretzka from 18/75 -> 18/83

Along with a few other positional ones. Reliably informed that Portugal is about to be reviewed so hopefully Alex Sandro goes up 2 to 89. From the Porto forums I've looked at he has been great this season.

He got into the Champions League team of the week as well :) http://en.uclratings.uefa.com/Player/TeamOfWeek/

Indeed!

Lost 1-0 to QPR :( Annoying. If I had avoided defeat then I'd have broken the club's record for most games unbeaten.

Chelsea drew against Boro so the damage won't have been too bad... still, it's an opportunity missed to close the gap.

Next up: Bury.
