Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Positives:
  • Won 3-2 away
  • No more injuries or suspensions apart from the existing ones to Messi and Ramos
  • Gotze got two assists playing up front

Negatives:
  • Seems that everyone else at the top won too (according to Levo)

Liverpool at home is the next game for me.

Lost. Forgot about the cup and my team were fecked. Rather annoying.

Lost again. Kinda expected it, tried a new formation that worked in the cup but it wasn't to be.

Beat QPR 1-0 away. Big, big win for me that. I had been on a fairly poor run beforehand so it's great to get back to winning ways.

I can't remember how much my bids were, I feel like just leaving them and seeing what happens though.

10 messages at 2am and another 23 this morning! Flipping hell.

Out of interest, anyone got any idea when the Ukraine is likely to be reviewed? Bit of a bizarre one, granted.

Beat Birmingham City 4-0, I think the fact that Jack Butland was playing upfront for them helped my cause.

One of my young lads Dan Burn went up by 7 to 77 in the ratings, not a bad signing!

EDIT: Just realised I had a lot of reserves out in that game, 70-80 rated guys, that's a great result then!

I'm wanting Wilfried Bony up in Elite League. When is the Eredivisie done?

No idea, Bax. Some players have been done but others haven't.

John Stones went up 7 for me, to 82 and am signing Michu. Overpriced? Yes, but needed a third forward badly.

So what is the value of your individual bids?

Christian Eriksen
  • MANCHESTER UNITED: £5,744,000 plus Ribas DIEGO (27/91) and Patricio RODRIGUEZ (22/85)
  • MILTON KEYNES DONS: £4,205,000 plus Kim KALLSTROM (30/90) and Simone PEPE (29/89)
  • NOTTINGHAM FOREST: £6,100,000 plus Jeremain LENS (25/89) and Wissam BEN YEDDER (22/85)
  • DERBY COUNTY: £5,100,000 plus Tranquillo BARNETTA (27/89) and Derk BOERRIGTER (26/85)
  • READING: £606,000 plus Rio FERDINAND (34/93) and Baptistão LEO (20/85)
  • SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY: £0 plus Bruno CESAR (24/89) and Eliaquim MANGALA (21/87)
  • TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR: £3,000,000 plus Younès BELHANDA (22/90)
  • BOLTON WANDERERS: £13,000,000 plus Diego PEROTTI (24/89)
  • DARLINGTON: £9,600,000 plus Marco VAN GINKEL (20/87) and Pedro OBIANG (20/86)
  • FULHAM: £1,600,000 plus Mirko VUCINIC (29/92) and Endogan ADILI (18/78)

Reckon Darlington have probably won there.

Andre Ayew
  • MIDDLESBROUGH: £2.5M + R.VAN WOLFSWINKEL (24/88) + G.MACKAY-STEVEN (22/80)
  • NOTTINGHAM FOREST: £2.0M + Â.NENÊ (31/90) + M.LOWTON (23/84)
  • MILTON KEYNES DONS: £2.7M + S.PIENAAR (30/89) + S.JUCILEI (24/88)
  • FULHAM: £5.2M + M.SOW (27/90)

Ignazio Abate
  • READING: £165k + A.ANYUKOV (30/91) + N.KRSTICIC (22/82)
  • MILTON KEYNES DONS: £3.6M + J.RODRÍGUEZ (18/82) + A.KONKO (28/88)
  • AC MILAN: M.ZáRATE (25/89)
  • TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR: £15.0M
  • MIDDLESBROUGH: £3.7M + F.BÉRIA (29/88) + S.HAJROVIC (19/75)

Ever Banega
  • READING: P.HERNÁNDEZ (27/89) + J.FONTE (29/85)
  • SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY: A.POLI (23/88) + B.DENTINHO (24/87)
  • MIDDLESBROUGH: £4.5M + J.BORG (18/75) + P.MACHADO (26/88)
  • BOLTON WANDERERS: £10.0M + M.EKICI (22/87)
  • DARLINGTON: £9.9M + D.PRAET (18/84) + I.RUNJE (22/83)
  • TRANMERE ROVERS: £2.6M + D.CARRIÇO (24/87) + B.KNOTT (20/75)

At least we know Darlington are loaded: £19.5M on two different bids. Probably has a lot more stored away. Definite threat in future, especially if he gets one or both players he has bid on.

Eriksen, matched the largest bid my Chairman would allow. Worked out to £27-28m I think.

READING: £606,000 plus Rio FERDINAND (34/93) and Baptistão LEO (20/85)

Abate, again matched the most my Chairman would allow. £18-19m.

READING: £165k + A.ANYUKOV (30/91) + N.KRSTICIC (22/82) £18-19m

Banega, worked out to £19m

READING: P.HERNÁNDEZ (27/89) + J.FONTE (29/85)

Well feck, that's just confirmed i've got none of them even more.

I think i went to like 16 or so for Abate, maybe not even that. And Banega i think was 17 or 18 ish. Ayew was barely over the minimum for cash plus players so i knew that wouldn't work anyways.

Winners:

Christian Eriksen

Andre Ayew

Ignazio Abate

Ever Banega
  • DARLINGTON: £9.9M + D.PRAET (18/84) + I.RUNJE (22/83)

Very happy with that. Don't think I'll need to make any midfield signings for a long time.

My midfield options:

De Rossi (29/94)
Gotze (20/93)
Eriksen (20/90)
Anderson (24/90)
Cleverley (23/86) - should go up 2/3 when United are reviewed next week

Out on loan:

McCarthy (22/88)
Pogba (19/85)

Youth:

Radosevic (18/82)
Vilhena (18/77)
Goretzka (18/75)

Diego did well this season for me (5 goals and 1 assist in 9 league appearances), but had to sell him.

I have 17 players I'd consider first team players. I now also have 17 youth players. That will increase to 19 with Axel Ngando and Filipe Chaby set to come in. Could be one more, but that is in the balance.

Think that is enough youth-wise then for me. Will then only sign first-team (over 86-87) players.

:edit: Make that 20. Alex Pritchard is mine. Spent alot, but he is a top talent. Making use of the funds from John Terry's departure.

I was tempted to put in a high bid but I suppose I don't really need him. Good signing for you though.

Will be looking to trim down my own youth team over the coming months. Think I'm done in terms of those signings for a while (I say that but will probably bid on the next one that comes along... it's like a drug :().

Just had a chat with Trionz.

Value of his bid for Eriksen: £32,112,000
Value of my bid for Eriksen: £32,234,000

And he could have put in a higher bid as well!

I've got Villa at home. Not sure how it'll go if i'm honest, although i have already decided i'm going to rest all my players when i play United on Tuesday. feck the cups!
