I've spent countless months over the years doing everything I can for this league, trying to make it as fair as possible for everyone and make the experience as good as possible for everyone despite every single fecking action made by the developers making things so much harder for us.

Then added on top of that I've experienced my dog losing an eye and nearly losing the other in the past couple of months, got the whole twitter shit going down and the bunch of time spent running the two competitions on here for nothing.

And the shit filled cherry on the shit filled cake of West Ham accepting the bid to make sure the transfer goes through, just less than a matter of weeks after they said they weren't going to follow the rules after the shit-on-a-stick transfer system rejected their counter offer. Thanks a bunch.

Seriously, I've got too much going on that my mental health is on the edge. Going to log out for a few hours, maybe longer, for my sanity. If it genuinely was an accident by you Percy, we can have RedSky or some neutral everyone agrees to to do a randomiser on the teams involved to get Soler when his transfer ban expires.

Personal opinion (that I know you hate Benito) is that until the devs get their heads out of their arses, we have to have bids to non-managed clubs be cash only. The William Gomes deal was the final straw with a bunch of teams getting counter offers and the AI accepting straight away one of the part/exchange bids. It's the only way we can be fair. One of you make a thread in the SM Caf league feed asking everyone's opinions and if they agree or whatnot.

But I seriously don't have the energy or mental health right now to be coping with all of this, sorry. Like I said I'm out for a while. I'm not going to do anything drastic so don't try to make a new thread and stalk me a la Weaste or whatever – @2mufc0 and @harshad have my details if you all need to get in touch via WhatsApp. Goodbye.

Damo this sh!t isn't worth it, if it's impacting your mental health take a step back - it's only a game and real life and health comes before that.

Agreed 100% the devs have fecked it and it’s not fair for this much stress to be placed on Damien as a result of their poor decisions.

@Damien I’m backing cash for what it’s worth now. I’m sorry if my objection has added to the stress and I hope you know how appreciated you are by this nerdy group of SM players.

Damn, just saw this Damo. Glad you're better now. Try not to stress so much over this game mate, you've done a bloody epic job keeping this going but ultimately, shit will still happen. Sorry about your dog :(

Absolutely ridiculous dominance from you

Thank you. Think I'm entering a transition period so will be happy enough with a top 4-6 finish next season. Cups are out of the question due to depth.

Next season should be a good opportunity for you, Leyton Orient and Newcastle in particular.

MG winning the league and both domestic cups in season 18 with Darlington I think is the most impressive achievement due to fitness needed and rotation. Nuts to have won all three.

Your starting XI is still strong with great rotation options. So unless you’re going drastic in player sales I can’t see you dropping off.

Even with Isak incoming I’m too far off. Haven’t got the depth nor quality in the attack but I knew making the moves I did that it will kill a title push. Last season was my big chance and I blew it. Everyone who would be ahead has multiple 93+ attacking options which I just can’t match.

My rotation options are mostly loaded to one position

l3dwx3G.png

I am gonna do more sales but mainly the youth as there are a few players I should have been more aggressive with overhauling (Bella Kotchap was the biggie before I got rid... Martinelli and Nascimento are probably the next I should boot).

The "good" thing is that for most of the positions, the players rated 90+ are 26 and under for the most part. The big concern is CB, LB and GK.

Never underestimate the difference a good focal point makes. Isak will have more of an impact than you think.

Definitely think one of those RBs needs to be traded for a LB.

Pulisic and Sancho could also be used to bring in one better winger.

Problem is finding someone willing to trade. I don't have the charisma/sway that you have. Only swap with other managers I've been able to do in the past few years is the vast overpayment for Bade (damn Villa deal collapsing).

Hell, my offer for Isak was very strong (before I even knew you already got him)

Amazing work @Damien

Your dominance has been incredible. Happy with what I've achieved at Villa so far. Want another league title but the competition is brutal. Think I'm a top mid short anyway.

Didn't know the Isak deal was done. Congrats @BenitoSTARR . Fantastic addition to your squad. What's the deal?

Thanks guys.

You've done great too.

Benito's been secretive but he has nothing to worry about. Spoke to Bifo and he said both my offers were better on paper but he's going with Cardiff anyway.

With the timing I'm guessing the deal contains at least one of Kubo, Ben Seghir and Hinshelwood.

I trust Bifo is a man of his word.

I don’t trust everyone though.

You’ll all find out in under 48 hrs now.

That's fair enough. Both my proposed offers were posted in the convo I have with RS before I even knew you two had a deal.

Without knowing what yours was, I think only way I could have 'won' was perhaps by including Pulisic too but with my offer already containing one right sided player <=26 and 92 rated, having another one would have left me with nothing for my right side despite how much of a star Isak is. I think there's only one player I'd make that sort of offer for

Looks like it might let the De Cat deal through now, don't know if there was a change in the limit or whether its because the season is officially over
