Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Positives:
  • Beat Liverpool 3-2
  • Ramos will be available for selection from next game onwards
  • Messi will be available for selection from the next league game onwards
  • Chelsea lost to Derby so the gap between my team and first is down to two points - still fourth in the league, though
  • Gotze had another 2 assists as a striker

Negative:
  • van Persie injured for 10 days

van Persie will miss:
Sevilla (H) - Champions Cup very important game which will decide if we're knocked out or not
Nottingham Forest (A) - Shield game, wasn't going to play anyway
West Bromwich Albion (A)
Tottenham Hotspur (H)

Now to decide whether to play Gotze or Michu up front in his absence.

Can't buy a fecking win right now in the league.

Damn... just noticed I'll be missing both Messi and van Persie for tomorrow's Champions Cup game.

Michu and Gotze will be the strike partnership for that game.

Wolves played 2 players in their 70s (rated) and an 86. Wolves have done well for a while but to lose by that scoreline with the respective sides you fielded out is crazy.

And I don't know what to blame really, I'm doing alright in the Elite league. So clearly, my management isn't that bad.

I've been there before, doing well in one league and not in the other. Tried changing things around but nothing seemed to work for a while.

I'm loving that table at the minute. 8 points clear of the drop zone!

You've done great this season - all of the promoted sides have, though QPR is in a bad patch of form at the moment.

Had a right shit result last night against Derby...

A win would've put me 4 points clear...

Play Fulham on Thursday to hopefully get back on track...

this loan glitch is pissing me off. inactive teams want to loan my players, but they already have 3 loaned in so it gets cancelled. it floods my emails and floods my "news".

I don't think it's a glitch, I think it's just the same inactive club put loan bids in for some other players from managed clubs and the other managed club manager has accepted the loan bid before yourself. Although it doesn't make sense that the same club put a loan bid in for 3 players with only 1 loan space left!

Completely lost interest in this so I thought I might as well just quit and let someone else get my players.

The SMFA have awarded Manchester United £750,000 for qualifying for the knock out stages of the SMFA Champions Cup.

Lovely.

Knockout fixtures (to be played 8th April and 15th April):

SMFA Cup
Bayer Leverkusen - Manchester City
Liverpool - Shakhtar Donetsk
Manchester United - Fenerbahçe SK

SMFA Shield
Aston Villa - Hannover 96
Chelsea - VfB Stuttgart
Getafe - Arsenal
Tottenham Hotspur - US Palermo

Beat Forest 5-0 to give United their biggest cup win ever.

Castillo's out for 4 days with an injury and strangely Cleverley got both sent off and injured (he'll be out for 7 days, so by the time he's back he should hopefully be 89 rated).

Next round I'm away to Bury, who just beat Aston Villa 1-2 in their shield tie.

Through in Europe, through in the shield, and lurking around relegation. Such a cup team.

Lost 6-0 to City. Not bothered really though as i had a full team of youth players out (lowest was 60 i think ) and it meant everyone important got a nice rest.

Hammered Preston 9-1 with my reserves. 50 shots, 24 on target. That is mental

Swansea next in the league. Really is a must win. Computer managed and now weak enough.

Hello guys

I am sorry for not being active, but I really have no time for this and I would like someone to take my account so they can manage the league from now on.

Only "catch" is that you have to keep the account with gold membership because only gold members can have private leagues.

If anyone is willing to do this I would really appreciate it.

I could do that if it is possible to hand the league over to someone else in the settings (I'm sure it is). My account is gold for another 12 months and I can top it up past that.

Hmm. I'll look in the forums.

Problem with just using your own account is that it could end up with your account being banned by the SMFA for multiple accounts then we'd have no league to post in.
