Gaming The SM RedCafe League

I avoided Trasch for the reasons you mentioned JB, i thought it looked likely he would go down. Otherwise i'd have bought him myself.

Unlucky lad!

Yeah I thought he may, but it wasn't too bad as I got rid of Jonathan who was an 88 as well, but Trach's value is higher so when it comes to swapping him out I'm in a slightly better position.

Still, first couple of mistakes in the three seasons. Hopefully it doesn't become a habbit! :(

AC Milan at home for me tonight. With Messi injured I'm playing Gotze as a striker.

feck, I'm a bit lost here, took me about 5 minutes to find the tactics bar! Also noticed the feckers stopped giving SM coins each day you log-in!

Heh Schneiderlin goes up 3 while I've had my bid under consideration.

Redmond is coming to United. Daft transfer in short term but I've got a bit of money to burn (for some reason I got £4M from last night's Champions Cup game - don't remember getting that much before but I'm not complaining).

Quite a few have enquired about Diego and de Gea's availability over the last couple of days.

de Gea is not for sale. Both Diego and de Gea (as well as Anderson) got their concerns under a previous manager and all of them are set to see a reduction in concerns level on turn 10.

 How did it take you so long to find the tactics bar? I'm not a fan of the new layout but I suppose I'll get used to it.

Where did your bloody bid come from? I thought I was the only one interested, then today seen your bid accepted as well as mine :annoyed::lol:

Ah well, I could be more annoyed, but I have finally beaten Reading to a signing  step on down Gouffran!

Haha, this made me spit my drink out

What would old White be saying do you think Mr A?

He'd be on about 'Arry Redcrapp missing out. Begovic a good solid signing. Taarabt is the interesting one.

Cup news, solid result tonight. Beat a decent Villa side 2-1.

feck the league, all about the cups.

Sydney Martinez steered Everton to victory against Peterborough United.
Everton outclassed Peterborough United and thrashed them 6 - 1 in their The Red Cafe League Cup Round 2 fixture.
Boateng scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.
Martínez and Maher were also amongst the goalscorers.

The Toffees also welcomed four new signings at half time.

They join Polish youth sensation, Rafal Wolski, who Martinez signed earlier this week.

Fans were understandably delighted

Just been reading back through the first season.

Yoink Macheda coming to the Forest!

I'm interested in Caulker btw (Nottingham Forest).

:nervous:

Shame I was crap on day 1, made some awful signings, except jenas. No matter, Forest are up for the fight!

:lol::lol:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
P.DE CEGLIE 88 (25) - V.BRENO 86 (22) - B.ANGOUA 86 (25) - D.SILVA 87 (25) -

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------
L.REMY 90 (25) -------------------------------------

All done.

Not one player remains in my squad! My how things have changed!

From the Championship teams posted so far mine seems to be the weakest.

AN's in particular will be tough to beat with the depth he has.

Pinto 87
Piszczek 89 Fernandez 87 Cahill* 88 Nagatomo 88
Henrique 88 Kacar 88
Iturbe** 83 Honda 89 Gaitan 89
Welliton 89

Think I'll be lucky to finish in a playoff spot.

* could be recalled from loan
** may be "replaced" with a better signing depending on some things

This was my team posted that day.

Piszczek and Nagatomo I had right until the end. Gaitan would have stayed but he wasn't getting any game time at all so had to sell him.

Still can't believe maniak traded Wilshere for de Jong.

Witsel is gone. Levo offered me Inler which going forward is a very good deal for me. Witsel was too long term.

Ben Davies had a +9 to go to 84.

My army of left backs is looking good:

Badstuber (91)
Sandro (87)
Digne (85)
Davies (84)

All young. Sandro is predicted to go up to 88 or 89 as he's been doing great for Porto this season.

Ya, afro man aint done yet at all. Positions are modified all the time and across all leagues. Ratings are the ones that happen once or twice a year per league and they rate bottom of the league division to the top (real life standingsm so QPR all the way upto Man United).

Well, my troops are ready for battle this evening. I have no players in the premiership waiting for review unless Soccermanager decides to be lovely and rate Holtby again!

Got my unbeaten record to protect tonight away to Stoke.

20million bid sitting there from Rubin Kazan for M'vila, thinking of taking it, he's unlikely to go up playing in Russia, best I can hope for is a stall at 91 on next ratings.

United sign Smith

F1Ouq4t.png

Manchester United are delighted to announce the signing of England U21 defender Adam Smith.

He has been impressive for Millwall this season and in his most recent display against Sweden he had two assists. When he returns to Spurs at the end of the season he has got a decent chance of challenging for a squad place (and if not, he'll go on loan to another Premier League side).

He is the club's 33rd signing this season.
