He's a player I considered. Just know for a fact I'll be planning all these players in my head and come my turn they will mostly be gone!
The good thing about this draft though is that all you really have to do is prove that players ability to perform the given role. So long as you can state a good case, then big names are irrelevant.
Yeah but getting a player for certain roles is impossible without the big names as lesser players can't fill the role played in the original team. I've still got hope of getting my number 1 pick as the rest of the team I can sort of use a variety of players.

How is Fat Ron in and messi and other Ronaldo banned?
Messi was banned because he's an easy way out for too many difficult to fill positions/roles in too many teams. The same is to a lesser degree also true for Cristiano and the discussion around him and what he can do is often a bit tedious. In the end Ronaldo is just a striker, even though of course a great one and also a versatile one, but he can't play as many different roles as the other ones and isn't really an important pick from a tactical point of view for most teams.
We could have banned more players or no one, but that seemed the best way to do it to us.
