That's for Joga to decide.

Ideally, you don't want to cancel anything unless the manager himself pulls out - but it obviously has to be within reason. To my thinking we should get the first round done by Friday (last scheduled match is on Thursday) - so I'd propose that as a deadline here.

Again, though - it's Joga's call.

Yeah Friday is the last day for crappy to respond and I really do hope that one of the neutrals can take over the team as interim manager, if crappy is unable to play this match and is fine with taking over the team from the next round (if his team goes through). Or take over the side permanently if crappy is unable to continue and is happy with relinquishing control of the side.

If none of that happens, we will have to give Raees/anant a walkover. Ultimately the draft's all about celebrating the greatness and uniqueness of historical set-ups and it would be a right shame if we don't get to see Sacchi's Milan side in the draft.

Hope everything is all right with crappy though and I've sent him a PM

Sorry folks. A combination of vacation, being slammed at work and a personal emergency meant that I could not continue this. I should have logged on and told you all the same earlier but that's bad on me, that I could not even get to that. Even now, my work situation is as such that I can't devote any kind of serious time to this. I am mostly going to be AWOL till the start of footy season.

Edit- means someone else can take over my team or you can give my opponent a bye. Sorry

Don't worry about it, man - it happens (as I know very well myself).

We'll get a replacement in - or, as we've discussed, stage a bit of an exhibition match just to pay some tribute to Sacchi's team.

If no one is willing to take up crappy's side permanently, we will just play an exhibition match with no polls, just for Sacchi's side to feature in this draft. Raees/anant will essentially get a walkover.

After the last match is over the reinforcements shall begin with the standard 8 hour deadlines coming into effect.

First round (Pre QF) of reinforcements will consists of 2 picks per team and will be conducted in the reverse order of the initial format. PLAYER POOL SHALL CONSIST OF PLAYERS FROM THE KNOCKED OUT TEAMS AND UNPICKED PLAYERS TOO

So it will be @Edgar Allan Pillow pick first and so on and so forth.

We've decided to allow for non-picked players into the pool as well, despite initially stating otherwise in the OP. It's already hard enough with the modern restrictions, and there are quite a few gems still lying about unpicked.

Since there is no Henry, I've no choice but to pick up...Neymar. He lacks the physicality and dominant left foot of Stoichkov, but ups the threat level to that front 3 way above Martial! And an added advantage of having played in a False 9 formation.

Notice the left foot in the photograph :angel:
