@Enigma_87 probably has Kazi's second pick as well.
Vidic already??!
Picked on the fly after Lahm went, on my list I think he was least likely to be here before my next go.Vidic already??!
My bad. I'll take Diego Godin
Haven't been following this from close quarters, so maybe someone could clue me in - mostly in terms of what is to be considered before I cast a vote in the matchday thread:
Is the 'remake' pertaining to the precise (as much as possible given the limited pool) skillset replication of specific players, and making them fit into the system? Or is it more about trying to recreate certain segments of the team in terms of their collective effectiveness (say the defensive line, or a forward 3 as a whole - rather than individually - so less detail intrusive), and making them fit into the overall puzzle?
Cheers!

Alright. Thanks man!My reading is its kind of both. Having both similar players which also will blend cohesively into a replica style of play. As to how to weight individual similarity, cohesiveness and also player quality is down to voter discretion. I'd put most weight on the first two and the least on the latter.
Most important is the playing style and fitting the modern players in that set up. It has to be underlined in match threads so that's it's pretty clear otherwise it voids the theme of the draft.Alright. Thanks man!
It's better to leave such questions for the match threads as this is the main point of discussion.Gerrard & Mascherano are going to replace which players?

This early? Damn!2. Alaba
This early? Damn!
I was surprised about your Schweini pick tbh! Half backs are ridiculously hard to fill and thought you might go for Lahm. Alaba will fit in nicely too. Good pick. Our formation is dictating our transfer policy. Plus he is totally fecking awesome.

How many players are on your ever-depleting shortlist here?No pace shows up and takes Diego godin, are you fecking kidding me
Surely both. The draft overlords have been very clear about the replication point.Haven't been following this from close quarters, so maybe someone could clue me in - mostly in terms of what is to be considered before I cast a vote in the matchday thread:

Alright.
Not the most flashy name, but probably the most important role in my team - the Monti role.
No better option than the man himself:
Very nice piece on the tactical and also skill set I'm trying to achieve here:
Thanks. So far I've filled one of the most important positions with the players I wanted. Let's see how it goes.good pick, nice explanation!
