Boring fight, negative tactics from Mosley but you know you're watching a great fighter when everyone is shocked he didn't knock out Sugar Shane Mosley...

Very true Johnno. Shocked at Mosley though. I struggle to believe Sugar Shane Mosley would ever go into a fight with the sole ambition of spoiling his way to a wide decision loss? Did he plan on spoiling into the late rounds and then to open up like in his late KO against Mayorga? Whatever, it back-fired horribly, and if he still needs money he's less likely to get a pay day after that than he is if he had just got clean KOed.

I think he somehow convinced himself he could win in the early rounds and then was brought back to reality by that knockdown. Seemed to get very cautious after that and started going backwards after Manny turned up the heat.

It went beyond going on the backfoot because Manny forced him to. It seemed like it was the only thing he had on his mind tactically - throw his left jab, step back to his right, parry whatever Manny threw, clinch if necessary, repeat. I've seen Shane Mosley outboxed, but I've never seen him just give up on trying to win before. Although in fairness I haven't seen the Mora fight!

Mosley spoilt the fight... but I agree he seemed to be too scared to get knocked out. I thought he was a much fighter than that.

Bar that knockdown, Manny seemed unmotivated... and he didn't seem to be paying the words of Roach with any respect. There was alot of talk about the styles not being compatible but it was just a lack of effort by Pacman which was to blame.

feck missed this fight, worth watching highlights or was it just Manny on the offensive?

Seriously Aidz, it was shite, don't bother. It consisted of one decent knockdown in the 3rd round, but bar that both boxers were more concerned with shaking hands, smiling at each other and just skipping around the ring rather than throwing punches. The fact there were jeers throughout says it all.

That fight last night was as boring as hell, far too much gentleman-like. Fair enough being a gentleman on the outside, but in the ring you are a fighter, that is all. It was only in the 11th round did Manny clap both his hand together and stop touching gloves with Mosley.

Has Haye got a chance? Vlad looks supremely confident going by the press conference.

I am no expert but after watching both fighter last few fights I don't give Haye a chance of winning.
Vlad looked very confident in the press conferance and Haye does talk a very good fight but we have seen before that he cant always back up the big trash talk with a big win.

Won't watch Manny then, sounded crap.

Anyone think Haye looks shook up? Body language after the press conference in his interview seemed nervous, not his usual boisterous cocky-self.

I think Vlad has got to him mentally.

No doubt, Vlad's fecking got to him, Hayes talking shit "I looked in his eyes...err, yeah saw his destruction."

Deffo think he's bottled it a little inside.

He didn't bottle it against a 7 foot yeti. I doubt he bottled it over a guy who has been KO'd 3 times by shitbags.

How can you not give Haye any chance of winning? That dude hits hard and he has tons of speed for a heavyweight. I don't think Vlad has had a decent fighter against him for about 6 years.

If it goes past Round 8 I think Haye won't have the stamina to last and he might get stopped but this is a close fight anyway you look at it.

Yeah, he sounded proper nervous. He's usually quite composed, isn't he? but Vlad deserve beats just for shagging that cheerleader bird. I mean, what?! how do they even do it? his cock is probably bigger than her.

you will probably get Haye been a bit more loud mouth in the promotion events back in the UK, often how these things seem to work.

I'm not to sure how he will react when Haye starts throwing combinations at speed, no other heavyweight does it anymore and I doubt Klitschko has experienced aything like it.

Wlad fights semi retired fat golfer. Who, crucially, has fast hands and hits hard.

Brewsturd knocks the shit out of Wlad.

The mighty Ross Purrity beats Wlad like he owes him money.

If you don't think Haye has a chance, you're nuts.

I'm with Lance here, Haye has some dangerous hands and speed to back them up. Vlad hasn't fought anybody of note for years.

Haye himself has a questionable chin but its seems to have gotten abit better since he went to Heavyweight.

I have one question to boxing fans. I have been reading news on cases where some boxers wear lightly padded gloves and their hands have been placed inside casts. Won't boxers be able to tell the difference between a hard punch and a loaded punch and won't the gloves feel different?

I can't help feeling extremely sad reading the news of a boxer who had his eyesight permanently affected after being repeatedly punched and killed himself and can't keep thinking why would the boxer allow himself to face such punishment and not know that his opponent is cheating.

Hand wraps are inspected by the opposition's team before they are gloved up. Much to Margarito's dismay.

Just watched the Gatti vs Mickey Ward trilogy on youtube. Such incredible fights! If anyone gets the chance give them a watch.
