boxing legend sir henry cooper has passed away at the age of 76 at his son's house in oxted, surrey.

The former english, commonwealth and european heavyweight champion fought 55 times and is revered for his knockdown of muhammad ali in 1963.

London-born cooper, who won the bbc sports personality of the year twice, was knighted in 2000.

Alongside frank bruno, tommy farr and lennox lewis, cooper is considered one of the best all-time british boxers.

Despite enjoying a hugely successful career, he never won a world title and retired in 1971 after losing to joe bugner.

No one interested in Pacquiao / Mosley tomorrow night? If Mosley doesn't do his damage in the first two or three rounds (and I don't think he will), he is going to get pummeled. It's hard to see Mosley going down, but I could see it being stopped or the towel being thrown in. What does everyone else think?

I'll be watching it. I predict Mosley's corner stopping it after 9 rounds. Stylistically Mosley has a chance but its very slim. Says alot about what Pac has accomplished these past several years (and a bit about Mosley's deterioration) that this is seen as a mismatch though.

Mosley rolled back the years against Margarito but I think that'll go down as the last great display of his career.

I think this starts fairly competitively but after a couple of rounds Pacquiao takes over and starts to land at will... unless Mosley can land something big and force Manny into adopting a more cautious approach.

I agree that it will probably start of competitvely and turn a bit once sided from there on. Against Mayweather Mosley started out well and stunned Floyd at one stage, however he was gassed by the middle rounds and Floyd won easy in the end. If Mosley catches Pacquiao early theres always a chance, but my money would be firmly on Pacquiao to take this one.

Anyone intend on watching Prize fighter. I'm really looking forward to it, unfortunately two of the bigger names had to pull out but it should be a good one nonetheless. This could be the best yet in my opinion. In Johnson you have a World Level fighter and in Perez a really top prospect. Theres the giant Tye Fields who is chinny but packs power and a few other interesting inclusions as well. I'm gonna have a bit of money on Perez even though due to some of the fighters pulling out his odds aren't great.

No one is giving Shane a chance, so I hope he wins. Pac is no Mayweather when it comes to defence, Margarito landed a lot on him. If he allows Shane the same luxury, he may very well get starched.

Anyone know when the fight is due to start UK time?

Hope Manny wins so that they can sort out a match with Mayweather.

Don't think it says much if Pac wins this with the ease Mayweather took him apart, it was a typical Floyd fight where he just dance around him and won by about 11 rounds but always had the feeling that he could have got him out of there if he really wanted just like his fight against Marquez

Pacquiao will win this fight on points, saying that Mosley has the potential to hurt him early on. Should be a good fight.

Pacquiao by UD

Crap was looking forward to the DeGale/Groves and Cleverly fights didnt know they were on Skyboxoffice

Hilarious fights again in Prizefighter, Mike Perez looked like the only one that actually had any boxing pedigree.

I really doubt this. Mosley has a granite chin and is very tough. It will take a high volume of powerful punches to get him out of there, and that's just not something Mayweather is used to doing (that's not a criticism).

Pacquiao has a chance to do it if Mosley doesn't catch him in the first couple rounds. Could be the first time he's ever stopped.

Agreed. Mayweather pressed about as hard as Mayweather ever has for the stoppage. As you say, Mosley is just hard as hell, and Floyd will never be the sort of fighter to throw the 100+ punches a round that would have forced a stoppage, for fear of getting caught like he did in the 2nd.

Manny's got a better chance of getting a stoppage as he'll throw far more punches and he might force Mosley's cornermen into throwing in the towel. Conversely, he'll be far more open to an early onslaught from Shane...He's got a better chin than Floyd but I don't know if its in Manny's make-up to move back for the round like Floyd did if he's tagged...

I always do this, but the closer we get to fight time the more I'm questioning why Shane is such a huge outsider?! He's always been shit against bigger, taller movers, but when's he ever failed to deliver against a fighter that comes towards him?! Almost certainly money lost but I've put a sneaky £2 on Mosley via KO at 9/1 in light of the car incident, along with my monster £1 Manny by KO in the 10th bet that I'd already placed.

how did the towel need to be thrown in there? ref should have had that long stopped.

You're missing the bigger picture Widnes. When putting on my ill-fated Mosley-Pac bets I told my bet maker I thought Arce was going to knock this guy out but she discouraged me from betting on it! Why the feck didn't I put money on this?!

Probably because I only bet a total of £5 per annum, but I'm still fecked off about this!
