Klitschko's technically a much better boxer than Wilder. Wilder would always have a punchers chance, but he can't box.

Joshua vs Povetkin would be a bit like this, but with Povetkin not as good as Klitschko, and Joshua improving. A good fight against a technical boxer, but he can just take the rematch with Klitschko and get richer in the process.

Joshua-Fury and then Joshua-Wilder is what all want to see.
Do you reckon there is appetite either side for a rematch?

I go to 'meltdown' because I wanted Aj to get tested for once and when he nearly gets beat people on here cry? LOL. Fury owned this bitch on his home turf, in his Wembley, and then went and ate lots of cakes and crisps.

Seems like a boxing match that actually lived up to it's billing then?

I'm not a boxing fan admittedly but that's because every fight I've ever seen has been a complete anti-climax.

Anyone know where highlights will be up at all?

Something like that, yeah.

Wlad had an off night against Fury. He didn't perform well on his own accord, not because of anything Fury did. I think AJ would take care of TF.

Is boxing big in Spain? You hardly see any Spanish fighters or Southern European fighters full stop.
No idea, i'm from Italy:lol:(but seriously? Not really. Big fights are big everywhere, but otherwise it's a fringe sport. In both Spain and Italy)

In Italy we have a big problem with state-amateurs: our best fighters are given a purely ceremonial job with either the police, federal police, army, etc. So they get a nice, fat guaranteed check to fight as amateurs. They have no incentive to turn pro

Cammarelle could've been a good opponent for Wlad(also if you hear Italian commenters, they will tell you how he beat AJ in London:rolleyes:)

Dry your eyes, mate.

Tested like Fury got tested by Cunningham..

No idea. But it would be a match only about money. If Klitschko had won today, then sure, but with Joshua winning, what is the point? He already defeated Klitschko, for the first time in his career he had to go over 7 rounds and for the first time he got knocked down, but still managed to make a great comeback. All the doubts were if he can go for the entire match and can he box against a very technical and intelligent boxer. He responded well and showed that he can do it, adjusting the fighting strategy during the match.

An easy win for him in the reply IMO. Klitschko should do the decent thing and retire.

Told my mates not to undestimate Klitschko - was a tight encounter and a fabulous big fight which exceeded the hype and expectations.

Joshua needs to fight Fury and then there is no reason why he can't dominate for years to come.

This.

Demotivated, Ill prepared and complacent against Fury. He had his hunger back for Joshua fight.

Whyte, Breazeale, Molina are very good boxers tbh.

It was kin legendary. High quality boxing, blood, sweat and tears, both boxers coming back from the brink. Twas something out of a Rocky movie.

That's what boxing should be and very rarely seems to be. Or maybe I've just been watching too many Mayweather fights.

Fury had a good fight yeah, and Klit had an extremely poor one. For some reason though, I only seem to remember one good punch from Fury that really landed, the rest of it was scrappy as hell wasn't it? All they both did was dance around for 12 rounds and never once did Fury wobble Wlad did he?

Fury's a bum honestly. Losing to him will go down as a black mark on Wlad's career. Worse than the loss against Purrity

I thought Vlad would win this in the later rounds due to AJ being gasses. Was unbelievable how he came back from looking out on his feet, and certainly showed immense heart doing so. Well done I say.

More questions than answers from AJ tonight. Controlled the first 5 rounds but unlike the judges I wouldn't say he won them all. When he dropped Wlad in Rd.5 he punched himself out doing it and was lucky to keep his own feet in the end, 2 of the judges scored it a 10-9 which shows how dominant Wlad was afterwards. I also had taking I think it was 3 and a 10-10 in 1. 6-9 I had Wlad by 4, a 10-8, two 10-9's and a 10-10. So had him two up. The next was close but I had another 10-10. The first 2 judges were definitely homers and influenced by the crowd I feel. AJ was 3 up on one, 2 up on another and 3 down on the 3rd. Thats a big spread.

Tonight he showed great heart, loads of power but he looked anything but a WC boxer. Neither does Wilder so I think it'll be a helluva fight. I think both Wilder and Parker would take AJ atm.. He's a few fights away imho. Fury would be a 50/50. Tonight showed he's not the fighter I thought he was but he will become that fighter.

Fury and possibly even Alabama WBC boy or even Haye if he can ever stop being Darren Anderon or Owen Hargreaves, will own him. Can't wait
You are all over the show mate. On one hand you are using the Fury/Klit fight as a barometer to say, that because Fury beat Klit with ease, he'll school AJ. But then you forget this and throw in Haye, forgetting that the man never landed a punch on Klit throughout 12 rounds. AJ just knocked him out mate! He would destroy Haye.

Well that was only bloody brilliant! Felt like I was watching a movie to be honest! Klitschko taking that uppercut and keeping his feet was one of the most impressive things I've ever seen in boxing.

Insane that he didn't go down off the back of that shot. If it was a carton he'd have come out of his boots.

I hope that cnut never comes back. No one cares about him. AJ v Wilder is the fight everyone wants to see.

Everyone? Lol. Is that why AJ himself was calling out "Tyson Fury" tobthe 90k wembley crowd. Hahahhahaha you cant make this up.

Joshua knows he has Furys belts, the belts he and Wlad fought for tonight were never lost. Wilder is just an afterthought.

Yep, unless Wlad feels like he knows he can drop him. Don't see what's in it for AJ though- asymmetric risk for him as champ. Both seemed to leave the possibility open though and it was an entertaining fight tbf.

HAHAHHAHAHHAHA is that what it was, an "off night"

It definitely was. We certainly didn't see tonight's Klitschko against Fury. And it wasn't because anything Fury did. Wlad just came in too tentative and respecting of Fury's reach and wound up getting out-pecked over the course of the night.

We're talking about a global audience here, not what people in just England think. Wilder is the man in the states and AJ needs to face him to unify all things HW.

Can't wait to see AJ chin Claymore, sorry, Tyson Fury.

It was Fury that has called him out on twitter before the fight. AJ was just responding saying I'm here.

Quick, a mod check if Claymore is posting from Marbella?

Really exciting fight. AJ showed his naivety when going all out to finish Wlad in the 5th instead of picking the right moment and if he'd done so the fight most likely would've been over with a lot sooner.

Credit to Joshua though, I thought he was a goner in the 6th, really feared for him. Luckily most big shots from Wlad came in single shots which were easier to withstand.
