This fight is a joke and Audley should be not allowed anywhere near a ring.Disappointed in Hayes it does look like he avoiding the Klitschko brothers.

How the hell has Harrison got a World title fight?
He is the worst Heavyweight fighter I have seen ,at the Olympic's he was OK, fought OK but after that he was dreadfull
Also cant believe that SKY have put this rubbish on Box Office , how many are going to pay to watch this.

I wouldn't mind watching the fight but certainly not going to pay, hopefully it will be on in the pub.

I think Audley will put up a better fight than people expect and I want Audley to beat Haye too

My mate was a very good amateur and he reckons Audley will beat him. I don't see it personally. Why do you want Audley to win anyway?

Wlad vs Peter II is on soon, and Morales and Gamboa both have fights later too.

Missed the Booth fight but Wlad-Peter is just about to start. Think Steward was saying something in the build up to the fight about Wlad being more offensive than he usually is, but I can't see it happening.

More excited about Gamboa later on, to be honest. The guy's brilliant to watch.

Me too. This is predictably shit so far. I wish someone would storm the ring and knock them both out.

Yeah it's been pretty boring. Not much of a surprise, to be fair.

Peter is getting dismantled. He's eating a shitload of jabs/straight rights just to get in range and then whenever he gets inside he's being smothered by Wlad. Not exactly pleasing on the eye but it's clinical stuff. Don't think his corner will let it go the full 12.

Another one/two/clinch Wlad shitfest. No wonder HBO want nothing to do with him.

Wlad does clinch a shitload pretty much every time he fights. Dunno why he never gets points deducted for it, or even ever gets warned for it.

I've defo warmed to him a little this last year or so, tho'. I still find his fights tedious as feck to watch but you have to admire his level of dominance. Don't see how anyone in the division beats him.

Gamboa did alright as well last night. Looked a bit sloppier than usual and took more shots than he'd have liked but he still impressed me. He's just a sick combination puncher. And his speed is insane considering every shot is thrown with bad intentions. Just want him to fight Lopez soon... feck knows who'd win that one.

I think he like Bradley is sacrificing looking good to serve another purpose. I think Bradley looked like shit against Abregu to get fights with Khan and Alexander and if Gamboa wanted he could have destroy Salido his speed power and combination punching are ridiculous but last night he was as you said taking punches. Gamboa now in 5th gear would be too much for most fighters let alone him in 5th gear when he is more experienced etc
Perhaps Lopez will have seen last night and feel he can beat him now thus a fighter will be quicker to be made?

I know where you're coming from but I dunno what Gamboa has to gain by deliberately turning in a sub-par performance. It's not like he has the division running for the hills - I think both Caballero and Lopez have already been pretty positive about the prospect of fighting him (I know Caballero has for sure).

I think it had more to do with Gamboa facing his strongest opponent to date. Salido was catching him with shots throughout but then he's always been quite easy to find, especially when he gets a bit overeager. He was just more patient than usual, again, possibly to do with the step up in class.

feck's sake, was well looking forward to that as well.

Ah well, it should be worth the wait - can see it being a brutal fight. Got FOTY candidate written all over it.

Lopez when asked always says ask my promoter I think Kellerman raised it now saying it's really now unclear as to who will win between the two, like he is trying to use the performance as a selling point

Been working at Sky this week, seen the promo packages for the countdowns and the Magnificent 7, they are gonna compare Brook with Naz, do the Chisora badboy thing (the underlay is great they do a quick run through of his bad boy moments swearing and spitting on the camera lol, the biting and then the kiss)

Mite go up to Birmingham haven't been told yet

Are you a boxing journo or something CLK? Figured you had something to do with the press after seeing those photos from the WBC event.

Anyway, Khan and Maidana is a done deal apparently, only thing left to sort is the venue. Khan and his management have (rightfully) taken their fair share of criticism for avoiding big punchers, so fair play, because there are only a handful of fighters out there with as much power as Maidana. With Bradley-Alexander looking likely, and the winners of both fights getting it on, we should have an undisputed champ at 140 by the end of next year.

I'm only a casual boxing fan, so maybe you serious people could offer an insight.

I look at Audley, Tall athletic looking guy with a good jab and I look at the Klitchko fight the other day where he looked like a tall athletic looking guy who kept jabbing Peter in the face, and I wonder if this is a good warm-up for Haye to sort out tactics for Klitchko?

Obviously that's assuming Haye wins.

Well, Fraudley is a southpaw, so I don't know how much use it will be in terms of preparation for Wladiqueer.

Horrified to report that you can currently watch a stream of The Magnificent Seven.

That's shocking. I've managed to find one also, you'll be pleased to hear I'm currently on the phone to Sky Sports trying to report it.

In the meantime the Cleverly fight just started. Did you know he's just graduated with a maths degree? Never heard it mentioned before. ;)

Great fight. Cleverly fought like an idiot, but it made for a great spectacle. Warren nearly shit himself at ringside when Murat was having success in round 3/4.

Looking forward to the Brook/Jennings now.

Interesting to see how Enzo Maccarinelli gets on, I thought he was finished after the Lebedev fight, I havent seen him since.

That was fecking brutal. Should have been stopped after the first knockdown, IMO.

Definatly but the ref obviously doesn't know Enzo. That second knockdown punch was unbelievably on the money, it nearly took his head off.
