What a clown. Throwing 4 dollars back at Walmart hardly makes him Mayweather. Also, what the feck does he actually buy? He seems to just walk away without taking anything with him. Did they go with a camera to Walmart just to film that?

Canelo-Cotto was bigger. Maybe Canelo-Khan appeals to a more international audience cause of Amir, but it won't do as many PPV buys / make as much money as Canelo-Cotto.

Cotto would whoop Khan good and proper, not that Canelo won't mind. The only hope is that Amir does a hit and run job, counting on Canelo's relative inertia.

Khan has no hope at all. He's a LWW who's achieved nothing of note at 147 & is jumping up to MW for nothing other than a payday.

Brook has name dropped Cotto after rumours that Cotto's team wanted to fight Brook surfaced.

Interesting news all the same. On the one hand it's a typical Eddie Hearn style thing to talk a good game when you know you've got a fight to sell and other plans but on the other hand, Cotto is there for the taking like Martinez was. Get the right fighter to match up to him at the right time and you've got a stellar career moment there.

That all said, Brook is still a joke of a champion for me. Really like the guy but he's fought absolutely nobody of note since taking the belt and avoided a rematch with Porter while the likes of Danny Garcia and Keith Thurman have been active. He's skirted even big and very winnable fights like Brandon Rios, Robert Guerrero, Devon Alexander etc too. Heck even Adrien Broner would have been there for the taking with Brook's imposing style.

As an aside, I do wonder what is keeping Marcos Maidana out of the game for so long. He's had weight problems when out of the ring. It's been 18 months since he last fought and that was a poor showing against Mayweather even for his offensive output. The ring rust, weight issues and style would be made for a busier, prospectively elite fighter such as Brook.

Yeah, I've been quite a Brook fan poster on another forum, and someone called me out on his recent bouts... Pathetic, to say the least. He really should be taking on the likes of Alexander & Guerrero at the very least.

Agreed.

Reminds me a tad of Calzaghe... Let's be honest, there wasn't many great title defenses between winning the belt & Kessler.

Broner acting like a tosser? Shocking.

Brook needs to win & win in style tonight.

Eubank Jr also fighting tonight on Channel 5. Might just watch that one instead.

Will be carrying the extra weight in his legs and belly from the looks...

Doesn't the co-commentator in the Eubank jr fight realise 'Still D.R.E' is music?!

Edit: apparently didn't go off in the arena.

This is a fun watch. Both fighters landing some nice shots.

Yeah a good scrap coming out here. Wonder how much Eubank has in the tank if Blackwell can ride it out. He's noticeably slowed already but the flurries are blistering yet he leaves himself so open.

Thing is Blackwell has backed himself into a corner already, hes lost too many rounds and is going to have to find a knockout.

Well done ref for stopping it. Fair play to Blackwell but Eubank was superb. Still acts like a twat.

Very good watch.

Yeah that eye was messed up, no way he could've possibly seen out of it.

Good stoppage.

Richie Woodhall is usually on the money with his views and scoring but that scorecard was heavily influenced by C5 I feel. Eubank had a shout for every round yet he was just 4 up according to that.

Brook about to start now. Ring walks done. Sky dragged out the gap between Campbell and Brook so badly.

Right lads, onto sky 1 for the Kell fight.
