Joe Gallagher is a massive prick. He said he had it level after four rounds  Didn't want to give no credit to Frampton after the fight. His ego took a big hit tonight.

I don't mind Quigg and would've been more neutral going in to the fight but I wanted Frampton to win badly to shut Gallagher and Hearn up.

Sounds like watching the crap of Mad Max: Fury Road was a marginally better call than watching this shite. Amazing it was ever pay per view tbf.

Nothing short of delighted they got it done, and at the right time and all that....but it ended up making Floyd-Manny looking right in milking it for years, though I'm not entirely sure this could of been any bigger unlike that. Fight was a dour affair.

Frampton should go up I think, by all accounts, he's pushing to make weight now, and it's on Quigg to chase him for the rematch anyway, so he can follow him up.

The last few rounds showed what a great fight it could've been, shame the first few were so terrible

Quigg let himself down being so cautious early on, Frampton gobbled up rounds on account of being busier (and I use that term very lightly) but let's be honest it was a complete non event for 4 rounds which could easily have all been called even (I gave cf 2 and 2 as even). I don't disagree with the decision per se, if you had to give anyone the first 4 it was cf but all things considered it was a draw all day for me neither did anything to deserve the outright win imvho

That both fighters looked completely untouched at the final bell says it all. Hopefully there's a rematch and at least one of them takes some risks

People don't even know how to score a fight. Nonetheless I couldn't give Quigg many of the early rounds because Frampton was controlling the pace of the fight IMO although Quigg was holding the centre of the ring for the most part.

It went pretty much how I expected with Frampton fading down the stretch. Unfortunately Quigg couldn't get the knockout or knock downs that he needed.

Frampton vs Rigondeaux will be a snooze fest. Still I want to see Rigondeaux against any top fighter. If Frampton beats Rigondeaux then I think he becomes Northern Ireland's greatest ever and in the top 10 British fighters.

Disappointing fight although the atmosphere made it worth going, really was mental. Frampton deserved it I dunno how anyone could score that to Quigg he got it all wrong really. have to have a look at people like Gallgher for them tactics

Strange how Quigg's ended up with a broken jaw yet it was him throwing the harder shots. That one which rocked Framptons head back and put him off balance was probably shot of the fight by some way. Quigg did say in the interview he thought his jaw had gone though.

Quigg got a broken jaw in round 4 yet didn't start throwing shots til round 9?

He blew it imo. Had his big opportunity and for some reason decided not to go for it. The right man won.

Frampton should either fight Santa Cruz or Selby later in the year. Not fussed on a re-match just now.

Doesn't take much to break a jaw really. All about the position it is hit rather than the power as such.

What was that last night? Frampton was doing enough from the early rounds to make it a comfortable win. Quigg should have realised that earlier than the 6-7th rounds. In the end he had too much to do. Not bothered about a rematch, the right man won.

The only person out of the 6 main people in the build up who'd want a rematch is Quigg I'd say.

Pacquiao wants to fight at the Olympics apparently! Would hate to be the poor amateur who ends up facing him for an Olympic medal.

Would be Frampton's biggest test yet, will be interesting to see if he'll take it.

I think he will vacate and move up to chase the LSC fight. Rigondeaux doesn't bring enough money to the table and there is every chance he will make Frampton look a rank amatuer in there. LSC is the better fight on every level for him.

Sky's punditry team has been biased towards "their" boxers for years to be honest. When we were there live we had it 9-3 to Frampton, I've not seen it back but I can't see my view changing much from there. It's all about protecting the investment. They probably knew Frampton won but I'd hazard a guess I was pretty close really. On paper the fact some of the Sky lot called it a draw or close is stupid but they're probably encouraged to do so to try and promote interest in a potential rematch...if this was on box office again who would really pay for it if everyone was saying "Yeah Frampton pissed this one lads" I'd guess no one. The fact they said it was close and they got luckier by a judge somehow scoring it in Quigg's favour. A lot of people who just watch the odd boxing event would probably then think it was a close fight!

Whether Frampton likes it or not Sky's biggest investment at the moment is Eddie Hearn fighters. Even if Quigg and Frampton don't fight again they will try and build up Quigg for a comeback. It's hard to sell such small fighters as it is yet alone one who got beat convincingly by someone who's not even the best in the division.

Off topic but I met James Nesbitt that night, I got floor tickets and we were using the same bar as him. He was absolutely fecked. It was just before he went back to his seat and got on TV and me and my mate said how fecked he was then we looked up and saw him on the big screen getting booed!

Don't see the big deal anyway, it was a poor fight which did not live up to the hype where very little happened until the last few rounds, mostly because Quigg put some effort in and went for it. He had the best shots but Framptons energy and movement over the course of the fight is what won him it. It was a Frampton split decision but you could argue it was close to a draw than a unanimous. Boring either way so not worth talking about now.

Whens Haye, Khan, Fury and Josh on...

Really?!

It was clearly more unanimous than closer to a draw, Frampton won by at least 3/4 rounds.

Seriously though, why would Oscar make Canelo and Amir pose with his weed plant

Lucas Browne doing ok so far in his title challenge against Ruslan Chagaev in Russia too. 5th just over and he's got a decent case for 3 of them at least.

And then he got dropped heavily in the 6th and is looking seriously shaky every time Chagaev lands his left hand. Boxing, every time.

EDIT - The 7th round finished 40 seconds early and this is in Russia when the home fighter had the advantage from the round lasting the proper distance.

Browne floors Chagaev in the 10th and stops him!!!

Australia has a new heavyweight world champion. A former bouncer.

WBA is such a joke. There's now 3 people who can stake a claim to being their heavyweight champion. Just odd! It's a bad enough division as it is at the moment they don't need stuff like this really.

Fury has been back on Twitter slating McGregor as well which is odd. Reading through his Tweets them 2 just seem like a follow up to the McGregor stuff and trying to gain some publicity for himself, which is fair enough.
