Looks like Batman will have to wait a little longer before he gets very badly beaten up Klitschko. Wlad has an injury and the fight will be postponed.
Btw, when they get in the ring Klitschko will make Fury look like an even bigger clown that Fury looked the other day in that costume.

Real shame, this was going to be a top, top fight. Thank god for the Joshua card in December! Could be a fight against time to rearrange this.

Gutted :( At least GGG vs Lemieux & Cotto vs Alvarez ain't too far away.

Tyson can be a berk but you've got to feel for him here. Twice with Haye and now this. The biggest fights just never go smoothly for him. Such a shame.

In better news, Chris Eubank Jr has signed with Matchroom and got Adam Booth as his trainer to replace the Klitschko-Fury fight on the Sky PPV showing.

Ignore Kugan Cassius...

Great. Let's see the overrated prat get laid on his arse by Manny.

Didn't it happen with Chisora as well? Not on the same level as the other 2 I know but still be pretty annoying and does have bad luck it seems with it.

I reckon Khan might beat Pacquaio now, I wouldn't of thought so a few years ago but I think there's far more incentive for Khan than there is for Manny.

I think Manny would KO him out stone cold.

Only one way to find out I suppose. I'd of backed Manny a few years ago but don't think he's as interested in boxing as he once was. I'm not a big fan of khan really, I think he has a huge opinion on himself but he has far more to gain from winning this fight than Manny does, it would be close and there will be knockdowns but I could just seem him edging it.

Thrilla In Manila: 40 years on from sanctioned manslaughter in boxing

The last of Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier’s three contests was a brutal spectacle that earned the fighters respect but also all but finished their careers

For the purposes of commerce, showbusiness and Don King’s love of mangled rhymes, it was called the Thrilla In Manila. In reality, the third, final and quite frightening fight between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier, on this day 40 years ago, ought to be remembered as The Fight Too Far.

Both came to the battle weary, aged and struggling to contain self-delusion. They left damaged and irreparably bitter...

Fury vs. Klitschko os now on November 28th....not to long of a delay then. Still can't see anything other than a Wlad win.

My god I hope it's a Wlad win with a big big knock out. Fury is the least respectful s.o.b I've ever seen and the most overrated boxer as well. Sure he's got power but he's also got a suspect chin that against good fighters will be exploited.

He's just playful. When you see him in slightly more reserved interviews he's actually pretty respectful towards Wlad... The rest of it is publicity, and him just having a screw or two loose.

I hope he wins. He'd be a breath of fresh air.

James DeGale will defend his IBF super-middleweight title against Lucian Bute in Quebec City on 28 November.

DeGale, 29, became the first British boxer to add a world professional title to an Olympic gold medal when he beat Andre Dirrell in Boston in May.

Romania-born Canadian Bute, 35, held the IBF title for five years beforelosing to Carl Froch in May 2012.

"I'm under no illusions about this fight but I'm also a massive believer in my own ability," said DeGale.

"Bute is a world-class fighter. He will be very fired up trying to win back his old title. But I'm too young, too fast, and too skilful to let that happen."

DeGale has won 21 of his 22 fights since turning professional - his only defeat coming against bitter domestic rival George Groves in May 2011.

Bute, victorious in 32 of his 34 bouts, said: "The fact the fight will take place in front of my fans in Quebec City, where I have never lost, will be the factor that will make the difference."

Fair play to JDG, that's a pretty tough fight for anyone at 168.

Bute vs Froch was a great night.

It's a good fight for DeGale in my opinion because Bute has a reputation but (and I hate to say it) but the Froch fight really did seem to take it out of him. His last few fights he's looked pretty average, I never thought he was brilliant anyway, always a class below the top fighters even when he was champion. I think DeGale will stop him and it will look good on his CV.

It's DeGale's first defence and it's an Al Haymon fight, there's no chance this hasn't been scouted about as an "easy" win which will look impressive when it happens.

Agreed. Bute has lost convincingly to every top level fighter he's faced. Essentially he is a well respected bully boy. He can overwhelm any fighter that isn't approaching world class but if matched against anyone near that bracket, he's struggling. He has a punchers chance in this and that's it. He hasn't got the heart, technique, skill or work rate to outdo JDG on current form even in a home town contest for me.

It also needs to be acknowledged that JDG isn't just a fighter that won a world title by chance either, he is a man on a clear upward surge toward elite level competition in the post-Calzaghe era of his division.

Hope Murray finally gets that belt.

Some interesting vids:

Porter vs Thurman on Dec 12th could be the fight of the year.

That's a proper 50/50 fight. My opinion will change loads in the build up, at the moment I'm actually thinking Porter will win but it's to close to call!

Brook is on Sky Sports instead of Box Office, probably a way of padding his numbers somewhat and showing loads of people watch him, I'd imagine it wouldn't of done well on Box Office as it's own card.

I think Thurman-Porter will be similar to Porter-Brook. Competitive fight with the edge going to the boxer-puncher (Thurman) in this styles match-up.

Golovkin v Lemieux is on next Saturday. This fight promises to be an all out war. Two of the biggest punchers at middleweight going at it. Both fighters have a ridiculous KO ratio.

GGG vs Lemieux is gonna be a bad ass fight. Lemieux looks to be carrying a lot more aggression and power over the last few outings, very ferocious fighter. We all know GGG is just as deadly and even more calculated. Its going to be a WAR with a guaranteed knock out. If I was a betting man I would say GGG round 8.

That's actually really refreshing to see. Usually the "Face Off" show (and now the UK equivalent Ringside have ripped off) is so forced with bullshit about hating each other and then they're best mates after the fight. It gets a bit tedious to see. Whilst it does sell some fights I think the fact these 2 sell it by their boxing ability is actually a nice change.

One of the best knockout punches have seen.
It took Gabriel Bracero just 41 seconds to send Danny O’Connor to the canvas on Saturday night with what many are calling the knockout of the year.

Bracero (24-2, 5 KOs), 34, who defeated O’Connor by unanimous decision in April 2011, connected on a powerful right cross that sent O’Connor to the canvas. O’Connor stayed down for a few minutes and was tended to by the ring doctor before getting up.

Wow. Other than the lady on the front row most of the crowd still hadn't moved an inch by the time his head hit the floor. Pedestrian

Amir Khan has pulled out of negotiations to fight former gym-mate Manny Pacquiao, according to a newspaper in Abu Dhabi.

The Bolton fighter was in talks with the 36-year-old Filipino superstar, who is set to return to training before the end of the year after undergoing surgery on his right shoulder following his defeat to Floyd Mayweather Jr in boxing's richest-ever fight in May.

Pacquiao had acknowledged that welterweight Khan was a potential opponent for his comeback bout, but the Briton's hopes have been dashed with speculation growing that Pacquiao has set his sights on a rematch with Mayweather Jr, despite the American's retirement following 49 unbeaten fights.

Khan - who sparred regularly with Pacquiao when the pair were trained by Freddie Roach - has revealed their advisors met in Doha last week but were unable to reach an agreement.

The 28-year-old told The National: "I'm really disappointed in Manny and his team. They aren't playing ball. All that was left to do is to sign the contract. But they are stalling.

"I have pulled out of the negotiations. I am no longer fighting Manny Pacquiao.

"They know I am a tricky fight for him and they know I will beat him. Or else, why pull out of a fight when there is a lot of money on the table?

"I don't really know if Mayweather is fighting Pacquiao again. It is a possible reason for him to stall on signing the contract, but I don't really know."

han is now looking at alternative options for a fight early next year, including Sheffield's IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook.

"I am not going to wait around for Manny like I did for Mayweather," he added. "I need to fight and if they don't want to fight then that's fine, I have other targets.

"I already had a back-up plan drawn up in case the Pacquiao fight didn't go to plan. We are looking at a Danny Garcia rematch. I also would like to fight Tim Bradley; that's another interesting fight.

"A rematch with Lamont Peterson and, of course, Kell Brook is also another option.

"I am willing to fight anyone, but it seems not everyone is willing to fight me."

Khan really does have a high opinion of himself! He seems to have it in his head that both Mayweather and Manny are terrified of him, it's very odd.

I can't blame Manny for holding out for a rematch with Mayweather (even if he is "retired") it's gong to be his last fight and he probably wants the massive pay day again. Money seems his biggest motivation in boxing now, Khan doesn't bring that much interest really.
