Commentary is a joke . Cotto did some great work in rounds 6 and 8 but they hardly credit him at all, instead its mayweather 'toying with him'. Completely pathetic.

I told you. It's beyond pathetic. It was far worse earlier in the fight. I think they're finally starting to understand that it's not as one sided as they'd thought.

Floyd's been hitting gloves for most of the fight yet it's majestic? Cotto does it and he can't get near him. Apparently.

 Yeah, before in an early round they were like "Nice uppercut by Floyd, two uppercuts! THREE!!" But everyone just hit Cottos gloves and did zero damage.

Cotto came on strong in the middle rounds but Floyd started and ended much better. Clear win for Mayweather in the end.

LOL i was listening to the most biased American commentary team in existence, they were all over Mayweathers balls. Great fight though, exactly what everyone wanted to see.

Disappointed in Cowboy Bob, if Mayweather needs a fluffer he should look no further. Despite the loss I'm very pleased with Cotto, fought well and even had Mayweather swinging at air at certain points.

Loved round 6.

Mayweather as I thought just stepped it up and closed the show like a fighter of his stature should. Entertaining fight.

Mayweather - Pacquiao, who is ducking who in your opinion?

I saw Mayweather agreeing with an interviewer in saying that 'there were not many challenges left for him'. To my mind Sergio Martinez at 154 and Manny Pacquiao at 147 have always been only two really interesting challenges for him since he came out of 'retirement', yet it seems to me that there is a total lack of desire on his part to make these fights.

Mayweather - Martinez would be an incredible fight! I actually think it would be better than Pacquiao Mayweather.

Martinez is such an exciting boxer to watch, keeps his hands low and so fast on the attack. Reckon he would hurt Mayweather at some point for sure.

I don't think Floyd has faced anyone that hits as hard as Martinez and he has the speed and the guile get through.

Alas, I don't think that Floyd has any intention of fighting anyone that has a real chance of taking his 0.

Right just had a read about... synthetic testosterone, apparently.

Doesn't look good at all but I suppose it's worth waiting till this is all official.

Mayweather will try his best to find an excuse to run away from Pacman. First the drug tests and now wanting a 60-40 split in his favor.

Apparently he was intentionally getting bloodied up by Cotto to give the fans a bit of an excitement as well, because he really cares about giving boxing fans their money's worth and what they want to see - except when it comes to manning up and agreeing to fight a certain Philipino.

Last I heard he was blaming his dislike for Bob Arum for not making the Pac fight, wish that he would make his mind up.

Funny how he didn't care about giving the fans a good show when he sucker punched Ortiz last time out.

I don't know how people can claim for certain who's ducking who. At the end of the day no one knows each camp personally and lot of this "leaked" stuff on internet from sources is usually bollocks. I'd imagine both are slightly to blame for it happening and in my opinion the main problem is the times when one is ready the other doesn't seem up for it and therefore the fight never goes ahead.

Stuff like the 60-40 split isn't that unreasonable, whether people admit it or not Mayweather is the biggest box office draw around at the moment, his fights create an instant buzz and he probably would bring more people to the fight so a 60-40 split isn't THAT unreasonable. It's annoying how Pacman always says about just wanting the fight to when if that's the case he probably would take the 60-40 (which at the end of the day is still 2 huge sums of money.)

I just resign myself to this fight not happening now really, simply because there is always a way for either of them to get out of it. I don't think it's as simple as Mayweather ducking it though it just seems the ship has sailed now, even if it happens in a few years time it will be to late, both would be in their mid-late 30s and past their peak, it would of been brilliant a couple of years ago but not it seems a bit to late to do it.

I think they both want to fight but only if the conditions are right. Arum is probably the biggest obstacle.

Looking at it though, Floyd is the bigger draw so he has every right to refuse Manny a 50-50 share. In terms of casual fans I have come across, many only became interested in Pac because he could have been a potential Floyd opponent (This isn't to say Pac doesn't have fans).

The drug testing is unavoidable now, its becoming a part of boxing because of Floyd drumming it up and even non Floyd fights are doing it (Berto/Ortiz 2) so there is no avoiding it if you are Pac.

He gave such silly reasons (afraid of needles, then gets a tattoo) but at the moment I'm not 100% sure what his status is on taking the drug tests, I assume it's still no.

How have these two high profile boxers got away with what happened in Germany and are continuing to mock this sport.
