I'm flabbergasted at that decision. The fight was a lot closer that Rogan made out, and in all the replays all they showed was Phan's offence, but he definitely deserved to win.
 
Forgot the UFC TUF finale was tonight, all geared up for Strikeforce
 
I think I'll watch Maia - Grove, then switch over to Bigfoot - Kyle

Good stuff, Bigfoot vs Kyle. Kyle dominated the first round with GNP, Bigfoot couldn't get off his back. But Bigfoot recovered the second round, got a TKO. Still, wasn't too impressed with Bigfoot, looked hopeless with Kyle in his guard. Likes of Fedor, Barnett and Sergei could beat him handily from there.
 
Strikeforce:

Lindland brutally KO'd by Lawlor :eek: Shades of his fight with Belfort, zombie Lindland recovering very slowly. Pretty worrying to see this happen to him again. Nasty.

Maia wins, fairly boring fight with Grove. Da Spider has to be the most annoying nickname I've heard, never really liked him.
 
Strikeforce:

Wow, another absolutely superb first round KO. This time Daley on Smith. Took him out with that big left and put him right to sleep, but he was landing big combos and hooks repeatedly and Smith looked totally out of his depth. Good stuff from Daley, looked really sharp. Happy to see him win

Another huge first round KO :D Hendo just totally wrecked Babalu, caught him a few times standing, Babalu tried to take it to the ground and recover, but Henderson overpowered him and just smashed him up with some Fedor-like GNP. Great stuff, great card

You know, Brookins standup looked pants on the show. But you figure that in the time between the show and the finale, that each fighter is going to work on improving weak areas. Well tonight his standup looks pitiful. The first round was all Johnson. Brookins took some nice shots

Second round is all Brookins, took him down and beat on him

Brookins takes the third easily as well. Both fighters showed big holes in their game, but credit to Brookins to come back after some heavy shots and win the fight

Err, is it just me or did Bravo completely skip the actual Henderson fight and cut straight to him being declared the winner?

also, I had my Sky Plus set to record the Tuf finale the other night, and the time ran out before the fecking Bonnar fight, then the replay of it didnt show the full fights either. Hopefully Sky never get the fecking rights
 
Strikeforce was fecking amazing last week. So pleased for Daley.

On the 11th is GSP Kos. I fear what Kos is capable of and can certainly see an upset, but GSP is excellent at rematches, excellent against wrestlers and excellent against trash talkers, so that's 3 strikes for Kos. I bravely predict a decision v for GSP.
 
That was a brilliant card from Strikeforce. Short and sweet, just how they should be.

KO of the year from Daley. I can see the logic in a fight with Noons (who went the distance with Diaz) but realistically Daley is too big and strong for him.

Lindland needs to retire before he ends up a vegetable (if it isn't too late already).
 
Yeah but it's still massively flawed. For a first step into the world of MMA it's an ok effort and a good base to build from...BUT, I expected a lot more. The striking is nowhere near as refined as Fight Night and the ground game is just broken. I think EA should just focus on making a K1 game. Undisputed is rubbish at everything.

Heard the UFC signed Kid Yamamoto, following their signing of Omigawa. Two interesting signings, although Kid has looked past his best recently. Hopefully this motivates him and he can go on a tear. Fantastic fighter when he's on song.

More signs of the impending death of FEG/DREAM :(

Great first round from Alves, looking really sharp. Good stuff.
 
Howard completely outclassed by Alves but a gutsy performance. Alves looked great
