Well, Cub broke the record of significant strikes landed in the history of WEC/UFC and it wasn't enough to stop the Russian hammer. So you could say he did alright, at least his chin was solid as feck.
He did won the first round, but eventually was outclassed for the rest of the bout. He was rocked sometimes, but his poker face was good too.
The three week wait is long but it will be worth it.
And raging al doesn't get the 50k bonus so tweets the UFC and tells their company to go feck themselves

Incredibly harsh. You're effectively blaming him for being too good. He's tiny and moving up a division isn't just challenging himself; it's him putting himself at a distinct disadvantage against bigger men. Think you're then asking him to go above and beyond just because he's as good as he is in his natural weight class.
If he were taller (thus easier to pack some weight on without losing key attributes) and less reliant on speed, stamina and mobility, it would be a fairer expectation.
