Maybe so, the UFC bending over backwards for his every demand is pathetic though. An undeserved rematch headlining what they want to be their biggest PPV.
They're banking on McGregor winning it, if not it really tarnishes his reputation. They've backed themselves into a corner as well. If McGregor does win then why should Diaz not get an immediate rematch?

Cannot see him winning. It makes no sense.

It has to be an April Fools joke otherwise the UFC would surely made a statement... Please let this be a joke :(

He posted a new video explaining it's a joke, since so many people actually believed it.

As expected, Sage Northcutt (back to lightweight) was added to the UFC 200 main card.

Will fight the spaniard Wasabi Marin, finalist of the TUF latin american 2.

Norman Parke's been cut from the UFC. Not the biggest fan of his style but always a shame when a fighter from our isles is sent packing. Lost a couple of close split decisions against decent competition. I wouldn't bet against him being back at some point in the future.

Jones does not usually take late replacement opponents does he? Maybe all the shit he's put himself through will mean he is itching to fight.

Jones v Rumble? Jones v Gus? Jones v a heavyweight maybe?

That's shit news

Hope Jones stays on the card. He needs a fight

Rematch against Gus would be my pick

Not sorry to see Parke get the bullet...never could stand the chap

Yet again mighty mouse becomes main event.... They need to stop booking him as co main event... This is what happens. Mighty mouse did it

I dunno what they'll do with 197 now. On one hand the card is pretty average now without the fight. Will they risk Jones possibly losing to Rumble and ruining a Cormier Jones fight? Or will they postpone the fight for 200 and truly make a super card with McGregor Diaz 2, Lawler Condit 2, Cormier Jones 2 and Aldo Edgar 2?

I can't see Jones taking the fight to be honest on such short notice. It will prob be MM headlining now.

It does seem to happen every single time with MM. I feel bad for him because he said in an interview recently that he loves the co main spot where he doesn't have to take so much shit from everyone about not being a draw and would rather never have to headline.

Jones vs Rumble or rematch vs Gus are still huge fights but not sure I see it happening on short notice.

Seems like Jones vs Rumble is what they want.

Can fully understand Rumble rejecting any fight. He has the most to lose. As would Gus.

Surely Texiera or Rashad Evans would be the better options. Both in training for competition already. Both can afford another loss and still remain on the payroll.

Or St. Preux.

I'd be fine with them moving it to another date coming in the next month or two (haven't heard what the injury is to Cormier?), ultimately would love a replacement for this show though. I know he's coming off of a loss and it might not make sense to some, but man Jones/Gus 2 would be incredible.

Is Gus injured at the moment? I don't see him being mentioned at all

If he takes a heavy weight fight, @duffer might be right. Mark Hunt seems an obvious candidate.

Jones beat both rashad and texiera fairly easily, so I doubt either are a possibility

Aye, but that's also part of the appeal to Jones to keep the show rolling. He already knows the game plan on what to do and how tough they can be. Rinse and repeat and it should be the perfect tune up.

Helwani now saying OSP is a serious contender for Jones. Rumble is out (probably because he weighs 235 lol).
